Sorry AaronXP, not 100% correct. Theres been several promblems reported from people where they couldnt open certian sites, server was blocked, certian apps were not being allowed to access the internet. And al the settings and apps were allowed in the control panel of ZApro.And this has been the up to date ZA applications. -XPerties

oh heres a idea, UNINSTALL IT! Everyone having promblems with ZA at one time or another. I gave up. Is ZA issue not XP. -XPerties

if you want XP only, just reboot with a 98 start up disk in drive a: and choose load with cd-rom support. The when you get to a prompt type "c:" and then type "c:format c:" and your off to format land. Then afterwards boot from the cd and install XP -XPerties

Thats true sedative, you have a point. So it goes back to files being inbedded in IE then, but still seems strange he couldnt get any updates after a format. Ive never had a promblem and you guys no I format all the time -XPerties

Hermit, do me a big favor....When you want to add something or edit a post just click on the edit button on the bottum right hand corner of your post. When you do a thriple post that actually could have been one post it raises the storge of this forum, thus in time will make it load slower becuase the amount of data is so much bigger. uh well thats got me lost. Never seen that before. Did you install some powertoy? Lets see if anyone else has a anser, if not we can hook up for remote assitance if you have broadband. Its easyier to see whats going on with that. -XPerties

Yes it can be done. I have inserted the XP disk and installed remote assistance from there. When you put the disk in chooose other XP options and youll havea option in there to only install that app. Ive done this and it worked great. Never tried with win2000 software, only XP. -XPerties

Look in your start Button and see if theres a shortcut starting something at boot up? Do you have office XP installed? and could you post a picture desktop so I could see what it looks like? -XPerties
