No, It's a Toshiba Satellite 1710CXDS, I've downloaded some upgrades, including BIOS, and win2k modem drivers, but it still seems to be doing it...

It comes up as a Win Lucent Modem, as it always has... Just about to check manufacturer's website...

Yes, I think it does have compatible drivers, it comes up as the right product (Onboard), and the Previous OS was Millenium Edition, however I never bothered using the modem while it was on there, so I don't know if it worked...

I have XP Pro running on a notebook, with which I want to dial up to the internet, however, The modem hangs up before the other end can pick up the line. It takes a couple of beeps, and immediately says the line is busy, though it is not... How can I stop the modem from automatically hanging up? Thanx :assshake AcidBurns:assshake

Sorry, but how do I UPDATE, from 2.6.84 down to 2.6.362... Isn't that err, going backwards?

I'm having an issue with Zone Alarm Pro version 2.6.84, running on XP Pro. I cannot update my DHCP status. I have allowed Outgoing DHCP, and completely opened TCP/UDP port 67, however, XP still fails to update it's IP address. I am not running the XP Firewall, but I am running ICS... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
