Here is my setup: Router: Linksys WRT54GS Wireless 4 PCs Connected/Wired Task: On one PC which is essentially my home/office server I want to shared 4 hard drives within this PC (excludes the c:/ drive) to my main workstation. What I have done: I have ran the so simple network wizard on both PCs independently. On the "server" have right clicked >> properties >> clicked share tab and allowed sharing on network. Now on my main workstation how the heck do I tell it to find this server with the shared drives/folders?

You never seen nLite site go down. Sounds like RyanVM's site needs some sponsorship. With torrents even those who run servers can setup multiple seeders across several servers which would draw premium bandwidth. The main problem I see here and know first hand is xper runs and contributes personal funds to keep MSFN running. Many of you have no idea how much it cost to keep this site up per month. A lot of you come up with great ideas but those ideas take money and time which I know xper would love to provide but help is always needed. Even if you don't have cash to provide you can take MSFN affiliate link for eMax Hosting and place it on your site this way any sale xper receives a kick back on a monthly reoccurring contract. Hell you could even sign up under his affiliate account this way you both make a little. I'm not plugging my company. I started out many years ago as an admin of this site and have been good friends with xper for many many years. I'm only making suggestions and if ANYONE needs help especial xper for any ideas just let me know.

I'm going to some what agree with Redcloud and say I believe the entire story is BS. Doing a extensive search regarding this issue turns up ONLY mirror.co.uk story and no other resources. Even Arkansas public relations shows no such event which is where these items are supposedly being stored. If such an event had or is happening I guarantee it would be all over our news considering the Bush administration is being blamed for the entire government F'up regarding the Katrina catastrophe.

Deep, They do not provide what a normal person would consider "Support for a Dedicated Server". The "once in awhile" issues, yes of course they will but the daily management of a server and the time it takes to manage a server properly, they do not provide. Companies such as rackspace.com (as you pointed out) do however provide full server management. This is why the prices are extremely higher than your normal DC's. Regardless I'm still interested in knowing why matrix is looking for a dedicated server, if he wouldn't mind sharing.

When you view each section you see a ton of pinned post but not one of these sections has a "What is PROJECT_NAME about" thread for people visiting in these section to know what the heck the application is about. Everyone knows I been around for a long time but other than nlite I couldn't tell you what the other programs do. My suggestion is to: Have each section link directly to a detailed post with screenshots and explanation about the application. The thread should be pinned or linked from the main forum index in a URL placed under each topic/section name. Only my suggestion.
