That's odd because I run a 3.6 with corsair 1 gig ram, temps are normally around 27-29c but when I run anything like that taskbar thing that pops out when you mouse over it...well the temps just fly high in the 40-45 if stay moused over them. It's not like I run a slow system or low quality items but until I found kanfublator everything else used system resources and raised the cpu temps. oh-well

For all you guys who run all that crap like the animated taskbar thing and coolmon etc etc....do you really run that 24/7? I mean I run kanfublator but that's it. I have tried to the stuff but it eats major cpu and as many old members on here know, I love my PC power and love to keep the cpu cooled. 2 monitors

I'm an intel guy and will always be so I vote for intel but regarding motherboard; I have used nothing but asus for the past 7-8 years and never had one issue. In fact some of my highest overclocking against friends have blown them away with the stableness of a asus board.

Cool I got the task on the left monitor. I tell you with as much work on servers and graphics this extra work space comes in real handy. The only thing I now have to get use to is those extra buttons. And when I right click to close a window from my taskbar the close has moved up so I hit "maximize to desktop"...Drives me nuts. They have a bunch of nice wallpaper but a lot of scenes of natural crap. I'll have to look around for some sleeker stuff.
