Well my BIGGEST suggestion is read up on your board and go to that website I suggested. Flashing your bios can be fatal if you mess up. You could ruin your MB if not done right. Aagain go the website and see what updates are out there. Ask around on the forums. -Chris

the CPU driver updates are for the PIII...Its not a must need but it help proformance. You need to look around the forums, they have been posted on here.

Well since you have RC-2 installed I would have to put it off to a XP promblem. I had several promblems with webcaming and video when I first started with XP.The drivers now are alot better supported. You said there are beta drivers. Have you tried them? -Chris

For some reason everyones waiting for XP to come out before releasing the drivers. I dont know what else to tell you besides......Try 2000 drivers and wait to see if they release drivers for XP....Also call there asses...I did and got a sulotion! -Chris

You went and bought XP retail from a store...Its not out yet so how could you say its final? Secondly did you go to epsons site and see the updated drivers yet? Third ...I know epson is a picky bastard when It comes to installing it. They say never let windows install anything for epson. I own a epson and so does friends of mine. Now when XP was installed it atomatically installed the drivers then you probaly installed the software after that. What I did was go into device manager and remove the printer and all drivers/uninstall the software. Then reboot. Make sure your printer is off the entire time. After reboot install the software (make sure all traces of software previous and drivers are gone)...once the software is installed, reboot again...Now once you have rebooted turn on the printer. Windows will see the printer and install the drivers...But the drivers are now on your system and XP will pick them up. Once everything is all done reboot again, and everything should work. This is what I had to do on 4 different computers that all have been running epson printers. Let me know how you do! -Chris

I remember when 98 cam out and they gave tons and tons of stuff with it. And all the hype about millions of dallors going to help the launch of XP. All the deals that are out there suck big time. How about running your hard drive right off of your Motherboard during installation...Then after youve got XP up and running stick you controller in and let XP detect it and install the drivers for it. Once youve done that shut down the computer and reconnect it through your controller. Check the contollers website for any updates on it compatabilty with XP, Also is it a plug and play controller? -Chris
