go start/my computer/right click/properties/advance/startup and recovery/system falure/uncheck automaticaly restart....what will happen if theres any promblem when you go to start the computer, or shutdown you will get a blue screen explaining what the promblem is. -Chris

Ok, I have the following on the main menu at the begaining of booting up. 1-Windows 2000 pro 2-Windows XP Pro 3-Windows xp pro 4-Windows 98 5-Windows XP Pro Setup First dont ask how I got all this crap...Long story.Anyways number 3 doesnt even exsist and I want to erase it.And number 5 is driving me nuts. I need to remove all the setup files and the title from the main menu. Everytime I start my computer if Im not right there it starts the install.The only iptions I want to boot into is 1,2,4.Any help would be helpful..This is a major promblem for me! I would try to check up on what [b:fcb6de643e] Fangzter [/b:fcb6de643e] said, if everything is ok then insert the XP disk. Theres an option to fix exsisting XP System. Try that and see if it does anything. Also check your power options in XP. -Chris

Well hold on one min guys....When you go to acsess the drive do you get any light or activity on the drive while its locked up. If you do then this has nothin to do with the cable. As far as I have ever seen if you have tried two fresh OS installes and your getting activity on the drive when try to acsess it, then its the drive. They cost 15 bucks go get a new one. If your using a download version that supposely is 2002 then I would imagine you should have promblems. Systemworks 2002 that were offered on websites earlier were not actually 2002 final. You can find the final version now. I would advise to save your files you want, formatte and find a current systemworks 2002 to avoid anymore promblems. -Chris

the file names are as followed for this game... nfl2k01.zip, nfl2k02.zip and so on! all the way to 63. As far as the difference what would I do in both cases. Im not sure if you would consider this ziped individuly or a spaned archive, How would you tell? -Chris

If your dual booting which you probaly are logg into your old OS. Insert XP disk and click on other options when the xp disk boots up. Theres a "fix xp " option that you can use under the xp disk. -Chris

Ok, I posted this in here because it doesnt refer to a direct software.... Ive downloaded items and there seperated in 62 files. All are zipped. How do I burn or install these items. Would I unzipp all files to one directory then burn everything or install. I would perfer to burn it to a disk. Maybe convert it to a .iso file then burn. FYI its a game. But does that matter if its a game or a application? Secondly.....I see theres movies out there (scary movie 2) and I would like to get these. Again these are split in several files. How do I get these to work? Do I need a dvd burner to get these to work? Can I view it on the computer using windows media player? Thanks in advance everyone! -Chris:spaced

ya but if you read on spec sheet under program it allows you to view items about that specific ram. Like I said Im not sure if it says exzactly what kind of ram you have. My suggest would be go on a ram website like crucial and enter the serial number that can be found on the ram itself....pony site will give you a run down on ram. -Chris

I had a soundblaster live 5,1 x-gamer and had promblems with sound quility and using the add-on software it cam with. I switch to Turtle beach card, much better and has XP up to date drivers. I never experianced locking up due to soundblaster but you never know.Borror a sound card from a friend or get a cheepy card and test it out if you think it might be that. -Chris

well the only other thing that I can think of being wrong are.....Your .iso file is corrupt, Try getting another .iso file and burning it. -Chris

Well ya the drivers work fine, but if your a sound freak as I am you will notice sound quility has gone down hill. Not to mention the software creative supplied with the card has many conflicts with XP. -Chris

You have a soundblaster from what I read above. DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH IT, also the drivers that XP supplies are not the best. Many promblems with soundblaster! -Chris
