[b:f354c2a84b]Im confusing the issue....You have got to be kidding...Weve done everything for him, just put the cd in and if it gives you the splash screen with the choice to install XP then do it, If it doesnt then the correct instructions on how to burn a iso can be found above.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh[/b:f354c2a84b] [img:f354c2a84b]http://www.globalmafia.f2s.com/Copy_of_beatingheadoncomputer.gif[/img:f354c2a84b] :bash :bash :bash :bash :bash :bash :bash

  11. You only get the option to convert the drive that your puting XP on to NTSF , You can not use XP to convert other drives or partitions....One again that pain in the a** [b:d41eea6037]FthrJACK[/b:d41eea6037] :rofl :rofl said to use partition magic to convert the other drive over to ntsf. -Chris P.S.Not ever try to install XP by having files on hard disk I cant promise it will work. Most people dont even try that way but as you had mention (should have mentioned this in your first post to help out better) you dont have a burner....But does a friend have a burner you could use. Or ....hehe...do this. Go to a local computer store, buy a burner, hook it up , burn yourself a copy and return it the next day.
  12. Windows updates has already started to filter out piracy, betas, warez copys of XP....Knew it wouldnt be long till that happened. -Chris
  13. Ok....Lets start from the begaining 1. You dont need to convert drive e: to NTSF, leave it as fat32 2. XP will not start setup like 98 does in dos. 3.leave d: drive as fat is ok 4. Doing a feash install as followed......While in 98 insert XP disk. Choose freash install....You will come to a window that gives you 2 "advance buttons" to click wich will give you other install operations. I believe its when you see the hadicapp options. Click on the top advance button....Youll see 2 options that have boxes unchecksed next to them. One will say "Let me choose the partition to install from" and "copy all setup files to the drive given"...This is where you need to change where the setup files are copied to. Change it to e or d drive. Make sure both of the boxes are checked and cont to install...thats it....When the install cont and reboots it will give you a option to pick where to install XP...Pick c:drive. And your set -Chris

  17. wzperson- Listen I'm Chris, a moderator on these forums. What happen was Bowman had posted a response that degraded the american people as well as praised the maniac behind the whole thing. I edited it and deleted his entire message and I wrote the above response to be a response to what he wrote and to warn others who might follow in his foot steps. It was not at ALL directed at you. Smile buddy -Chris
  18. After dealing with rick and trying to figure it out I was baffled and though he was just a dumass:eek: [b:3da76de98e](Just kidding)[/b:3da76de98e] , but today My girlfriends father and I went to best buy and picked up a 100gig hard drive. We went back home and first used the install disk to copy the files from one drive to the other. Well after it completed we recieved a error. After looking and studing this error we tracked it back to the root directory of WinXP. It was missing some files that were unable to copy over. So we tried to copy manually over.....Well guess what XP smarter than we all give the piece of s***. It was copy protected from being put on another drive. Well after trying to use Ghost and another backup copy software.....Well we joined rick in his being defeated by XP......So my question is has anyone done this and worked flawlessly???? -Chris
  19. Well the first place I would advise you to go would be to logitech site. Im a big logitech user when it comes to keyboards and mouses. They have just recently updated all there drivers except there freedom wireless optical mouse and wireless keyboard but all other drivers are on the website.Make sure you get the right ones, the only reason I say this is because they have so many products that it gets confussion on which one you really have:D -Chris P.S.Please check your Private Message box for a important e-mail
