  1. Did you check a Sony forum for themes? Do that. Problem solved.
  2. It doesn't matter. A sector-by-sector tool should restore the OS as it is. But what I'm saying is there's more to restoring Vista than a sector-by-sector approach. Sector by sector in DOS. 2003 doesn't seem to be compatible with Vista so its reading the current running filesystem (or currently accessed & protected files) wrong.
  3. Mobile applications are an integral part of an online ecosystem. Or something like that. Take a piece of paper and write down what you know. What you need to find out. Then what it all has to do with your general topic. Narrow it down progressivelly into a single sentence indirectly stating intent. What are you trying to prove about; online system & utility software & mobile application
  4. That's why ghost was released in 2003 and Vista in 2006.

So after all of this, you decided not to do anything about anything.
  6. DeviantART http://dee-a.deviantart.com/art/Leopard-OS...date-1-79148065 They have a huge library of skins.

You can always "Run as Administrator" for programs. Is your start menu empty as well? Can you see C:\ProgramFiles folder as regular user?
  8. Easier. Install XP. Activate it. Install your apps and set everything up. Make an image of the drive. When it crashes, restore your system from the image. Done.
  9. Yes. Get a larger CD. 800 or 850mb ones are floating around.I don't know how you'll find them since few people use these CDs since DVD-R became a cheap storage solution. You can also cut the empty audio space at the beginning and end of each track.
  10. Better at what? Each one fills a different need for disk imaging.

How often does BitDefender actually do something? Like intercepting viruses, trojans... etc.? If you don't use it, disable the realtime scan and your computer won't be so slow, and it will boot faster. Use it only when you need to, or schedule a weekly scan of your computer. You can also further increase security by using the regular user profile, and not as an administrator. When you run as administrator, you give all software the possibility to make changes to your system including viruses.
  12. Would it be better if it was expected? Sorry to hear about your uncle. Don't beat yourself up over it. Live life while you can, because we'll all eventually meet the same fate.
  13. TweakVI http://www.totalidea.com/product.php?Product=TweakVI Do me a favor, run this through Office Word spellchecker: Suppose someone wanted to do a search for software to optimize Vista, and they knew how to spell.
  14. You're going to have to get a skin. Try the mac style ones. They have different colors like you want.
  15. No question = no answer. What are you trying to do in 5 words or less? Find an English speaker, and do not use a computer translator to help you out. Otherwise find a forum in your native language because nobody here can understand this post.
  16. More ram is better. It will reduce paging to disk which will increase battery life. Check to see the maximum. 640mb = 256mb + 256mb + 128mb. It seems off. You sure the maximum is not 512mb, 1024mb or even 768mb? (256mb x 3)
  17. Who cares? You only see it once. Edit the boot screen instead.
  18. weEvil This survey or evaluation about the family of thid forum, I could make a search its not that big deal dude. But As i told i want users on this forum understand and discus the issue of Windows Operating System (Their Own OS) Any way, Thanks Edzoss: This issue has been beaten to death on many forums, blogs, websites. There are many issues with both systems which have not been fixed. Such as the old garbage icons from windows 3.11 that have still not been replaced in Vista 32bit and 64bit. Check the Vize section for more. Another issue is the sheer size of the WinSXS folder in Vista. Let's not forget the driver signing issues with x64 Vista that won't let us install things like Sandboxie and AtiTrayTools without messing around in the system. Do a search for more. These are simply off the top of my head and are not representative of the general consensus at MSFN.

You sure? Pressing the shutdown button may put it in hibernate. Use the shutdown menu option. Third button on the menu after Shutdown, Lock, its the arrow pointing to the right. Did you do any software installs prior? Defragging after which will speed up the boot as well as everything else?

    Beeping

Post in the proper forum, and include more information. Its too vague. "My computer is beeping when I do something on it!" When was it doing it? x time after boot. Every 3 minutes says nothing. What were you working on when you were doing it? What kinds of diagnostics did you run and the results. Hint: check temperatures too. How often does this happen and how does the computer behave before & after the issue. Slower? Unstable? Weird errors? I can't help you if you won't help me. Don't expect anyone here to be able to read your mind and 'just figure it out'. Play nice.
  21. Probably like the human version of the apartment. Messy, ashy, and encrusted in something.
  22. Has Google fixed the phone home/recording everything you do issue yet?
  23. Your other option is to get FF3 running sind you have so many addons available to do exactly what you want. You can get DownThemAll! and an FLV downloader for FF3 easy.
