Hi all, well i`am facing a problem with installing the LAN driver for my toshiba notebook.. i have the driver i got it after i have formatted the laptop but when i extract the LAN driver from its .zip file there is no setup file.. and i have tried all the ways of installing it from add or remove hardware changes or devices but its still not working.. can anyone tell me how to install it ?..thnx all.

Good Work Finally, I almost to format it. So i guarantee there's no side effect right ! ? The new window (XP OS) will work well without facing any kind of problems ! ? No Conflicts ! ?

IcemanND Ok, but theres still a problem. when the HD C:\ is formatted, and when the Windows XP want to Installed in the HD C:\ he can't read it. he says (theres no Driver to install the Windows XP OS) I'm still confused, what should i do ?

1. You need drivers. 2. You need an XP install disc. Follow the instructions. When you select where to install the OS. you are given the option of formatting the drive first. You can do a full format, or a quick format which is actually just an erase of the drive. weEvil Thanks for the helpful information. But, I'm not done yet. Opps, I'm wondering during my format session when i choose the full format option and tells me driver C:\ cannot be (formatted/deleted). because i heard this error may appeared during the step of formatting the C:\ HD (many people get in this trouble). it may your recovery disk not working well (damaged) try another recovery CD and every thing will be ok

Thanks Tripredacus for your info. by the way i have the same issue, so as you told above i installed my hole XP driver and everything is ok. but i need to know how to format/clean/wipe my windows vista business and install the XP OS.. can you help ?

There's some questions i need to ask.. first.. i have TOSHIBA laptop and i need to recover it (by the recovery CD came with laptop), its vista business.. but the question is can i recover it even if i format my vista partition and but windows XP instead ?? so can my windows vista business come back ?? does it work ?

First of all.. hello for all.. Actually.. I've tired from my vista that causes many problems.. so i decide to convert it to windows xp (dark edition v.6) I have TOSHIBA laptop Satellite pro A-120 and i got the hole drivers for XP.. but yet i need help from others and advice how to remove my vista business completely and but the XP Dark Edition instead and does it harmful to do this to my laptop ? Help me and ill be glade
