  2. Wow, this is excellent news for Windows 8.0 users! The last Internet Explorer upgrade Microsoft will ever release for a Windows platform. Feels like a historic moment.

  4. ...seems YouTube is broken under IE9 again: It's even more weird because per @FranceBB's post in XP forums, it seems to work fine in IE8, 8 even displays YouTube overall better... Nevermind, apparently he has Google Frame installed and that's why YouTube works better for him,

  5. We are still speaking about a software, that claims support for windows XP, not for all versions released after XP Because TW notified me about that after an update caused TeamViewer Service to crash and it continued after every system reboot and after every attempt to run the software. Because TW didn't warn me about potential issue while I was prompted to update. Because TW didn't warn me when I manually installed newest version. Because their system requirements does not say that, their website does not say that. Only support board, where you need to know what are you looking for. Because most of the internet still uses ipv4, and see no reason why home user should have ipv6 installed in his local network - even f it's by default, it probably lies useless. Because secure user might follow the rule "if you do not use - uninstall it" and remove it even on newer windows. This rule isn't some geeky trick, this is one of three basic security rules by mr. Krebs. Because their installer could recognize if I have ipv6 installed, and install it on it's own - after all it has given enough permissions do do so. Because they recognized the issue soon after releasing an update from 13.0.6447 to never one, and nine months is enough to give a birth, and they still didn't give a ... requisite to giving a birth and didn't fix the bug and fail to inform users before they install a software. They didn't even reply with "no, we do not plan to fix it", which is what I would require from serious, renowned company, that treats its users fairly.

  6. Dave-H, would you mind testing the 11.0.23 plugin with IE8, if you haven't already done so? Looks like @jumper scrutinized the Changes to base system requirements link I posted earlier and is concerned about support for IE8. If there really is an issue, then a slightly earlier 11.x version might be advisable for IE diehards. (Note: 11.0.22 was noncumulative, so one would have to apply 11.0.21 first.)

  7. Darn: WebRTC option still greyed out on uBO 1.18.2 on Basilisk 55. Apparently, enabling that option requires a FF version > 53, which makes it a no-go for XP. I'm switching to the legacy version of uBO in Basilisk 55 too....

  8. I personally don't use Adobe Reader, seems unnecessary since Chrome/Firefox does the job. I'm aware 11.0.23 works, I wrote about that a few weeks ago.
