  1. This leads to a huge memory leak overtime. Which Braunovitch wasn't able to fix.

  2. Can we see the detailed report of what CF does to the browser? What exactly is fingerprinted, etc. Thanks.

  3. Well, after testing v2105 today, I succesfully managed to install Office 2021 LTSC (v2108) on Windows 7 as well! It is not very stable - most apps crash but Word opens and I'm experimenting on making it run fluently on Windows 7. Proof: imgur.com/a/word-2021-on-windows-7-4abLWzT

  4. To get something installed doesn't really mean anything. What matters is whether it works properly in all its features. And actually as always, a superficial view is not purposeful. That means a thorough examination is necessary.

  5. @NotHereToPlayGames BTW, such a legacy Custom Buttons extension I have already provided in September of 2022 in my thread "Extensions and custom buttons for UXP browsers - Corrections, modifications, adjustments, and special recommendations" which can be found here: Custom Buttons - The extension for installing custom buttons. As already said, this version cannot be installed in Mypal 68. And here are more of those old Custom Buttons extensions you are referring to which are all incompatible with Mypal 68: https://sourceforge.net/projects/custombuttons/files/ Can be checked very easily. The good is you won't "have to dig through stacks and stacks and stacks of DVD-Rs" to find your Custom Buttons extension because with a probability bordering on certainty, those old versions, if you ever find any, won't either work in Mypal 68.

  7. What gang? The one that presses the Like button for one another, and the gang that throws out old computers & aluminum cables? Not really. New Moon crashes on a CloudFlare captcha when memory usage reaches 1.7 GB and commit of 2.6 GB. I use 32-bit on purpose to keep the memory in check because it shouldn't be allowed to use more than this.

  8. Where did you see that this switch is only for automatic definitions updates? BTW, I have not only linked a screenshot, but also quoted from the online help: That sounds to me not only like definition updates, but also like programme updates. I cannot judge what is ultimately meant by this, as I do not have a licence.

  11. @VistaLover, where are you? So, @j7n is now in "our gang", or whatever you called it? Anyhoo, it's been a real nightmare, as of lately, I also have terrible problems with YT, and it doesn't depend on the browser, they just love to block random IPs, Europe, mostly.

  12. It's because in 126 they introduced the so much hated by @NotHereToPlayGames UI, and I agree, it's ugly. No way you're getting it to work on 8/1 due to the missing elements. It's actually the same with Vista. First, you'd need to tool back the old one,

  14. Is the "covid generation" are those between 18-21? Weill, yeah, they are hurting the planet big time, I've now finally found a female I kinda like (about 6 points out of ten, but, alas, I don't have that huge leverage over the variants I had earlier, so I consider I'm lucky). And what? She produces at least thrice amounts of waste compared to the previous GF which was born in 1996. The new one uses at least twice more cosmetics, she throws away a lot of plastic stuff, and all of that I noticed after a couple of days living together. Now she says lots in my house needs to replaced!

  17. I just want to clarify that nobody here is glad that this is happening. I am disappointed that quality of life worsening for Americans since 2008. I want for Americans to have universal healthcare and raised minimum wage and better life. That just not happening, things going in opposite directions; for the first time in American history young generation live worst then they parents - this sucks. This is not the case anymore unfortunately. It was the case in 1980s, 1990s, until 2000s. In 2007 documentary "Sicko" guy doing stitches on his arm himself, cause he can not afford go to doctor - this is unthinkable in any civilized country, citizens perform minor surgeries on themselves because they can not afford go to doctor. I also recommend you to watch documentary from M. Moore "Where to invade next", where he compares standards of living in EU and USA. But even this documentary did not show story's that i constantly hear from USA: person get very ill with Insurance - got check on $200.000, how can you afford that where your month salary before taxes is $3000? People who work all they life well in they 50s, still have big credit on they college education. This is inhumane. It's not that you can not work hard, it's that you can word hard, act rational and still can end up bankrupt without medicine, without a place to live.

  18. Today I got Microsoft Office v2105 working on Windows 7 (System 64 Bit, Office 32 Bit). I knew that versions above v2008 were harder to port for Windows 7, so I tried out bunch of stuff and found Word working. The rest of the suite however crashes immediately during Start-Up Proof: https://imgur.com/a/SC5lVEJ

  19. Long story short. My question was: And your answer was: When one reads what you have written here: one is more likely to come to the conclusion that your affirmative answer does not correspond to the facts. I doubt with a probability bordering on certainty that you have ever installed a legacy Custom Buttons extension in Mypal 68. Those legacy Custom Button extensions from the old custom buttons forum cannot be installed in Mypal 68 at all. They are not compatible with Quantum Firefox versions. They only work in older Firefox versions up to and including 56 and therefore also in the UXP browsers. As you know, I am only interested in real facts.

  20. Your expression of interest has been recognised. So, you are the second one who has clearly stated his interest in my custom button. BTW, have you ever installed and used the legacy Custom Buttons extension in Mypal 68? Without it, the PMT custom button cannot be installed and would be then useless.
