Windows 10 itself is overbright by default. She mentioned the OS - Win 7. Win7 is brighter than Vista, on Vista I too see a huge difference in brightness, also your favourite subject of fonts, in CatsXP they are clearer and the browser itself has normal brightness, I compared the both 118 versions, @Karla Sleutel, sorry I can't say anything about Brave since I don't use it, on the other hand I'm afraid of catsXP either, so I'm sticking with the ungoofed 110 at the moment. Ungoofed has terrible fonts! At least it's not so bright. But the winner here is catsXP (in terms of looks, not safety). @win32, could you please compare the brightness/fonts on Vista? Thanx.3 points

Hello! Does Supermium disable stack profiling? Stack profiling may change performance. Disabling stack profiling is beneficial when comparing performance metrics with a build that has it disabled by default.3 points

FYI, I checked the root cerificates for updates and noticed this: At first glance, it looks like the disallowedcert.sst (revoked certificates) file has been updated. I downloaded it and compared it with the previous version. The contents of the two files are the same. The only thing that has been changed is the file date and timestamp on the server. So, nothing new in the West. Cheers, AstroSkipper2 points

My error, but it's soon enough-I prefer older games you could install with a disk rather than a net based service that tries to force you to update to the latest Windows Malware! Btw, is it just me or is Vista the best looking of the modern windows Os's? Even win 7 Areo didn't strike me as being as well polished!2 points

Hello! Can't see what is shown at the top of the pic. If the driver itself works fine, then I d'say it must be some bonus crap programmes they usually stuff driver packages with.2 points

Hello everyone. I just finished re-adding GDI to Supermium. At first it would only work in --single-process mode, but I got it working in standard mode by ensuring that FontCache objects have the Skia GDI font manager when GDI is enabled. Then I want to fix TLS, readd D3D9 DXVA support, and link Supermium against a DLL with implementations of many newer functions. I have fixed my PMs if you are interested.1 point

I'd want to see full portability, like they achieved in the ungoogled version, I'll then write a new loader app.1 point

This is needed only if he somehow managed to mod the drivers, which I very much doubt, knowing legacyfan. Also, he would get a watermark then.1 point

Error Code 52 is a blatant driver digital signature issue with your Graphics Driver in the combination with the operating system. 8.1 has very strict demands towards WHQL. Clean manual installation of WHQL graphics drivers resolve the issue.1 point

Yes, absolutely ! I ran Vista without this driver and without any issues, but the "bug" you're talking about was still there. The CPU ran at its maximum clock without the intel CPU driver. I want to ask, on Hawell x64 Vista always says the "logon procedure failure", so maybe need to search for the problem in its "logon procedures" ?1 point
