  1. From my experience with old cards, (I have an old GPU Titan XP, made in 2016), anything after 45x.xx is simply bad for such old cards.

  3. Yes, adding decoder for ffmpeg was not enough, but you can update the whole ffmpeg to newer version, then delete unnecessary hevc things. Another question who set the http://o.rthost.win site, i wanted to download the latest newmoon version and stopped by coulderfire human checks. This is ridiculusos, let to put aside that this is also goolag antihuman thing, just why?

  6. Seems you have to go out of the way to turn on javascript.options.ion. Off is default. NM27 doesn't look like a browser I'd ever use. Even MSFN is broken on it.

  11. I perfectly understand you always have to disagree with me, but you didn't even understand what I wrote, besides that unique fingerprint. for all desktop browsers, there was a simplification of UA, quite some time ago. So yeah, all sites, esp. those that deal with finances, will consider such UA as an extremely rare case, of course plenty of other sniffing measures will be activated. I bet it was the first time they registered someone with that unique UA, among other hundreds of thousands of their daily visitors. I'm looking forward to read when you disagree with me again, preferably in even more rude manner, it's always enjoyable to read.

  12. I just got back from Mykonos. This summer I've rested for too long, I'm tired of resting! I made a terrible mistake, it was too hot there! Not sure I'll ever go there again, not my climate. Though I met some interesting people there, with whom we are going to stay in touch and help with our careers.

  14. Is this a joke? Toshiba Satellite more like one grand in 2013, esp. if you're in Western Europe. https://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/toshiba-satellite-u845t-s4165

  16. Google had ended Drive support for Windows 8, 8.1 and Server 2012 with version 79 last month. They just dropped v80 and (I guessed it) it works on Windows 8.1 (x64) imgur.com/a/1YVGp57

  19. Officially it doesn't, I think the question was about the official support. For 116 to start, it needs to be done like this. I also saw some reports of video decoding/playback troubles. The installer of 116 is blocked for anything below Win 10. About the video and text problems, I can't confirm or deny, I don't use Firefox myself. https://www.reddit.com/r/windows7/comments/15i9dfd/firefox_116_on_windows_7/

  20. Actually, it doesn't matter. But if you want to know later where it came from, it makes sense to keep the original name. A Nightmare on Elm Street!

  21. As I already mentioned, you have to do this via copy and save the CSS code from the stylesheet site such as https://userstyles.org/styles/180927/disable-css-animations-and-transitions-safely.css. Scroll down to the bottom of this site, click onto "Show code", copy it, create in Stylem an empty stylesheet and insert the copied code. Then save it by giving the original name provided on this site. That's all. BTW, you can create such a stylesheet globally or for a specific website.

  24. Huh sorry. So, i say it is absolutely not important here how much microsec one version faster than another version. To resist goolag establishing itself over the world you are to learn about ungoogled versions of the browsers, and try don't use all goolag services, this is possible. Also i wander about devices, this thing came from there, goolag do not like when you take the ownership of the device even if you bought it. So is it possible to do root device that goolag not detect?

  25. @ClassicNick 8gb RAM will be enough, but do not forget about MOZ_MAKE_FLAGS j1, may be j2 will be fine too. I have 16 and set j4 Let we test the perfomance of omtp. This is off-main-thread painting. How to do this? I suppose to use a site with very lots of painting. I know one https://www.windy.com/ , and seems disabling omtp gives better performance, why?

  27. MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager Monster Hunter Rise wants MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager. which is Windows 8(1)+ only. When I try and launch, it says entry point MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager is missing in the dynamic link library MFPlat.DLL. Replaced, like they suggested, I now get a black screen. Ideas?

  28. @Milkinis I say all things no matter how they optimized on the any pc begin to freeze and slowdown when all RAM is occupied, furthermore many things wil just crash for no more free memory. You name best optimized browser and try do the same then tell how it was.

  29. Reading all this, it seems that Malwarebytes will indeed stop supporting Windows XP and Vista very soon, unfortunately. Read these sources: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/295844-legacy-3512522-sudden-red-triangle-your-updates-are-not-current/#comment-1558895 https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/296406-windows-xp-does-not-have-lifetime-support/#comment-1561182 https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/144824-malwarebytes-commits-to-lifetime-support-for-xp-users/ Anyway!
