Yes, but you don't need PosReady Updates. Just enter a valid XP key in the activation wizard and it will activate even with IE6 installed.

Another OT post, but if any of you didn't know, the online activation servers still work for XP with a unblacklisted product key. You just need the root certificate update. If you activate online, you don't have to deal with Genuine Windows Activation error on Windows Update. If you take the title of this thread so precisely, then your posts are logically off-topic. But as far as I can see, programs are also posted here that are still Windows XP compatible. But to be on-topic I have found a web site of Tracker Software containing the "latest" versions of their programs PDF-XChange Editor and Editor, PDF-XChange Standard Printer, PDF-Tools and PDF-XChange PRO. All programs are version 7.0.328.2. Version 8 and higher do not support Windows XP anymore. I already knew that. I was able to activate my Xp with current root certificates and Tls 1.2 even without httpsproxy.

OK, I did my tests, with resounding success! As I thought, uninstalling KB4501226 did not produce a result, as it's no longer actually offered to POSReady 2009 systems. Uninstalling its predecessor, KB4487990 produced the desired result though, as you can see above. So, It's all working!

@maile3241 I cannot seem to replace wuaueng.dll in Windows Vista. It always says I need permission, which I have. EDIT: Nevermind, I just had to rename the old file to wuauengold.dll and it worked.
