  1. ah yeah that is Palememe drama where Tobin decided to block Noscript for some personal reason. Noscript is fine. Reason it "breaks sites" is because it block JavaScript by default. Absolutely ridiculous reason to hard block it. Overall addon blocking is stupid idea, you give someone else control over what addons are ok and what are not. Go to settings>security and set addon security off. I wonder why@roytam1 left it on build since it keep pinging palememe servers. Could it be removed on future builds?

  2. Here I am going to document the steps it takes to configure a web browser to use Proxomitron as a web filter. I will then use the MSFN reply-box "keylogger" as an example of how Proxomitron can prevent/break that "keylogger" (I figure that is an example all users here will be able to relate to.) Proxomitron is extremely powerful - I have used it since 2004 at least but have been away from it for a couple of years (still use it for my weekly Microsoft Excel Web Queries). I used it exclusively as a web browser filter before migrating to Mypal roughly 3 years ago and then to 360Chrome roughly 1.5 years ago. I have decided that it is officially time to bring it back into the fold and I am confident that several folks here at MSFN will find it extremely useful. Proxomitron really is extremely powerful and also can be a bit "intimidating" at first because of how powerful it is - I am hoping this guide will remove all intimidation. 3. I agree on this one. I used to be into noscript for quite time before was able to move to nmatrix but I can say it is superior after using few months to learn it. What is strange on noscript is that if I allow some domain on site a it is allowed one site b too. Nmatrix do not have that problem.

  4. As you can see in my screenshot, I use ηMatrix in combination with uBlock-for-firefox-legacy. ηMatrix has some learning curve however, but has more fine-grained control than NoScript. (offtopic) Thanks for your Ffmpeg builds for XP!

  5. If the thingy has not been used for some years, or it has been used or stored with the headphone plug inserted I wouldn't exclude oxidation in the headphone jack switch. jaclaz

  6. @Dave-H It looks we have gotten further now. maile3241 is able to download and install updates on his XP vm with ProxHTTPSProxy. He even sent a video further up on this page. I never thought Microsoft/Windows Update through the website would ever work again. He is currently figuring out the other errors people are getting. I am getting 80072f78, and ProxHTTPSProxy shows it tries to connect to the update server but gives an 500 error.

  7. Yes, from what I read on their 360 forum (translated , of course) , there won't be any XP versions anymore and no 32-bit, also. From what I understood they're forcing everyone to the chinese win10 "government edition". Also, tried this pile of garbage on a spare win7 machine , not launching . Says something about "your PC is insecure , reinstall 360 browser and try again" . Guessing it's because I don't have telemetry updates , in fact , I don't have any updates on that machine at all . It's a testing dump . But hey , don't forget 64-bit Vista users !)))

  8. Wheel-click the Start button, and you'll get the native Start menu (I'm not sure why Ctrl+click and Ctrl+Win don't work – they worked on StartIsBack; @Tihiy, is this a bug, or a limitation of Win11?).

  9. If it is a true install (as opposed to just restoring disk image), there should be a $OEM folder in the source somewhere. Just remove the installers from there. If you don't want to modify your install disks (read-only media, etc.), boot some live OS after the first restart and search in the C: drive for that folder.
