I've taken a look at your screenshot. I have hardly tested all the dll's inside the program folder (it is a different approach), but Ucrtbase must in the system folder. Such files ATL and certcli aren't required and used here - therefore superfluous. And pdh and userenv are superfluous. too. These are part of KernelEx. "Mypal engine trick": I probably never tested 4.8.2 with 4.6.0.

Hello, for a couple of days i've tried to make my i219-v to work on my windows 7 machine but i can't get it to install at all This is the error i keep getting on the installer. I've tried forcing the drivers but I get this Anyone got maybe a solution to this or i should abandon windows 7 ?

The desktop and any other apps will be sharing 64 KB of resources. You won't be able to run any other apps at the same time. So don't use wfw in the VM. Use a Linux distro with a wfw skin instead.

AstroSkipper, which sites did you test it with? I have the same issue Dave wrote about, memory leaks (and then crashes, sometimes just hangs) while scrolling instagram. I have 16Gb of RAM currently, can extend to 32.

I heard about this too but its only a localisation I belive. I am using wfw 3.21 though because of the networking capabilities.

I think I had it running on 256mb ram in an old pentium 3 compaq once but I never knew if it supported all of it or even saw it. Edit: when I googled it, wikipedia said the following: "Windows 3.1 could access a theoretical 4 GB in the 386 enhanced mode. The actual practical ceiling is 256 MB."
