February 16, 200521 yr I agree 100% with the snoozer, but then if you cannot do it with a batch file and regedit, it's not for me. If I were to use another method, I would simply log on to a new installation, make all my desired changes, save the user's registry hive file (NTUSER.DAT), and copy it to the Default User's profile during setup.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Bad move and can be disastrous
February 16, 200521 yr Hi all,I developed a guide sometime ago to address these questions... Please feel free to review the guide (link after my signature below) comments, questions, suggestion or additions welcome.

February 20, 200521 yr something done with autoitworks fine for me, but it´s not for "allusers"www.dinkytoys.de/quick.rargreetz
April 24, 200521 yr @mbressmanyou can only use [HKEY_CURRENT_USER at cmdlines.txt, remove other entries and add them later on.How about local machine?Cheers!
July 7, 200521 yr Hi guysHere is an autoit script that will set your system to have the quicklaunchbar. You have to run it once in windows mode. Copy it to the default user Autostart directory and your problems will be solved.Good luckquoteewww.dinkytoys.de/quick.rar

November 21, 200520 yr I cannot believe that something as often requested as this has not been simplified and included in something like nLite !!!! Surely someone can work out a fool proof way and tell nuhi so he can add it.... its the one big bugbear in my Unattended installs
November 21, 200520 yr There is a very easy way to do it mentioned in the nlite thread. You can do that with a batch file. Just create a bunch of shortcuts and have the batch file copy them over to %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick LaunchOr even a winrar sfx file ran at runonce or svcpack will do the trick.
November 23, 200520 yr JeezOr as I posted here and got a bunch of crap from it.http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=51753 Edited November 25, 200520 yr by maxXPsoft
