Hi there, I had XP installed on one partition of my harddisc, suddenly vista came out, and I had to install it ;-) .. My PC is a AMD 3400+ S.754 1MB L2 Cache, 1024MB DDR, 400MHz, MSI K8Neo Platinum. - however, my PC does not seem to be strong enough fpr vista, everything is a bit slow and laggy.. Now guys, how can I remove Vista without crashing my XP? - can I just boot up in XP and delete the partition where I installed Vista? any suggestions? thanks & greetz quotee

thx, but this is not what I am looking for, I want to set the alternate configuration, I don´t want to change the IP! and therefore I need a script to have this configuration when I set up my PC with a unattended CD ;-) greetz

First of all I need to say that these driverpacks are the best on MSFN! Thanks a lot Bashrat!! I do have a Adaptec 1200A ATA Raid Controller. The MassStorage Driverpack doesn´t support that controller! The first time I tried to install it manually it didn´t work, because of Adaptecs miserable driver ... (after the first reboot a bluescreen appears ...error with harddrive) Adaptec just cannot deliver a working driver for XP although they say that the Controller is developed for XP. Then I began searching in Google and many others has the same problem. Finally I found this page http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA/bios_hpt370_370a.htm# with this driver (v2.351) the controller works without any trouble! ... maybe Bashrat will include that one? greetz quotee
