However, when I try to open the "XPize Settings", I get the following error message:---------------------------.NET Framework Initialization Error---------------------------To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .Net Framework: v2.0.50727Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .Net Framework.---------------------------OK ---------------------------I am running Windows XP Pro, Version 2002, Service Pack 2.Any help would be greatly appreciated.-nathan
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 You need to install .net framework 2.0

flupke Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 That's normal don't you think? Only the XPize Settings program needs .NET Framework to work.ResHacker, icons, bitmaps and animations work fine without.
XPero Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 I think I should include a method to check if user has NET 2.0. Currently, XPize installer check if user has .NET, whatever version it is.
Angel Blue01 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 You patched the Explorer bar icons! Thanks! I wish I could install 4.2 on top of other versions...
eyeball Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 the next version should have the option to choose a custom jpg/bmp for your bootscreen.that would be awesome!
CBC Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 seconded! That default one is...well....ok, I guess, but....lol
XPero Posted February 4, 2006 Author Posted February 4, 2006 the next version should have the option to choose a custom jpg/bmp for your bootscreen.that would be awesome! Thats scares me a bit. I can imaging people having boot problems because they didnt add an image in the correct format (bitmap with 16 colors pallette)
superleiw Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Thanks for this new version XperoGonna wait until a newer version of nlite is released until I will use it
eyeball Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 (edited) the next version should have the option to choose a custom jpg/bmp for your bootscreen.that would be awesome! Thats scares me a bit. I can imaging people having boot problems because they didnt add an image in the correct format (bitmap with 16 colors pallette) well maybe you could have a huge disclaimer on it then if they break it, its their own fault. but seriously that kind of functionality would top off xpize cheers Edited February 7, 2006 by eyeball
CBC Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 maybe you could just add a couple of different ones to select from during install? Just somethinga little purtier than the current one..
