Mocht4R Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Another poll! Whats, in your opinion, the best registry cleaner?Mine is PconPoint.
Gouki Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Im not gonna vote on the poll, cause Im not sure! I have tryed Advanced Administrative Tools and CCleaner so far. I like both tho!
Lazy8 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'll go with Reg Mechanic, if only for the Inno Setup package--no problem finding the proper unattended switch with this one. Haven't tried most of the others, though.
Mocht4R Posted December 31, 2005 Author Posted December 31, 2005 I just recently stop using ccleaner, because it was erasing things that i didnt want it to erase, but other than that ccleaner is great.
kutster Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I not only use Registry Mechanic but I also use Advanced System Optimizer which has lots of different tools in it. And one is a Regitry cleaner and another one that Optimizes and Defrags the Registry.
DigeratiPrime Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 i voted other and its me.i avoid anything that will mess up the registry in the first place. i do like CCleaner though
wolf7448 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 i voted other and its me.i avoid anything that will mess up the registry in the first place. i do like CCleaner though CCleaner ROCKS...its really easy to useand it does just wat it says -- Cleans The CRAPit really makes life easier!
Maleko Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 How many times do we have to vote on this on this forum? lol
Jeremy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 This is probably the 5th reg poll I've seen in the last few months. There should be a rule made against these. people are so lazy...TuneUp Utilities 2006's Registry Cleaner + CCleaner + Using a registry finder program to manually search for entries of stuff you no longer use, removing the mass of them.
posix Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 haven't used any of the above, i just know i've always liked "jv16 powertools".
CBC Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Prefer Registry Mechanic, but have also tried the freeware Easy Cleaner w/ great success. And of course CCleaner, but only for junk removal not registry stuff
