HybridShadow Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 No you misunderstood me The bootscreen ATM is wicked im just saying what would be good as an feature in XPize would be to have that logon and a one the same but darker shades?
Aaron_ Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I like the actual xpize logon. Looks really good if you are using royale theme.Maybe matt5108 use a darker theme so it doesn´t look so good in accordance to the logon.
XPero Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 No you misunderstood me The bootscreen ATM is wicked im just saying what would be good as an feature in XPize would be to have that logon and a one the same but darker shades?Oh sorry, so you mean having the choice of 2 logon screens...I will think about, dont promise anything for now.
HybridShadow Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Yes that is what I meantOh if it doesnt go in, at least I know you considered it Thanks XPero

dwit Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 XPize does not change boot screen in any wayhuh then i wonder why my bootscreen was one thing and then another after installing the new xpize. Sorry my bad, oh and by the way i thought this was a forum for test xpero's beta for xpize and sense i thought it changed my bootscreen i felt this was the correct forum. my apologize for getting off subject.
Romey Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Ok so I was wondering if you look at the pic's I've uplaoded I've been thinking that with the logon we could use this as a base and change it alittle so we can make it match Royal (this one enables the windows text/tells me what it does when it shuts down) For the Monitor could we use a White LCD it would really match more.-Romey
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 @Xpero All working fine here with no apparent issues.
boenki Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 (edited) Hello XPero,I installed Xpize on a very light (nlited) system and I got two errors.XPSP2pro German.XPize post install of course. .NET framework is also installed.one bmp could not be copied.I think it exactly that one which showed up under Wallpapers afterwards. It was a bitmap which could not really be choosen althogh it showed up there.it produced an error.Ill reboot and edit here. Wait...EDIT:mmm after rebooting the problem is gone it was the MCE bitmap.when i started taskmanager after choosing itthe taskmanager would leave a black trail when dragged.understand? This does once again show how right calios signature is quick guide on windows:for SMALL problems REBOOT your machine for LARGE problems RE-INSTALL your machine ;-)The second thing is a very small bug (?): the text just doesn't fit into the provided space.I think if it loses beta status, it will be fixed by itself. Thanks for this new release.next thing will be the integration by nLite B) Steffen Edited July 17, 2005 by boenki
