hey guys... just ran over this problem... apparently the icons are compressed for the moniter, adapter, & troubleshoot tabs... everything else looks fine... by the way... does anybody know what the file name for the regular logon screen is (the one that requires Ctrl+Alt+Del to get in)?

i don't know why, but my ie7 just broke after applying xpize... it reverted back to 6.0 and i had problems using windows explorer... i was fortunate enough that i could uninstall ie7 and i did... p.s. you should start trying to use the ie7 icons from now on... just a suggestion.

ummm... i don't seem to have a boot.ini after boot.bmp... can somebody post how the data should work, or post their boot.ini here?

well xpero did give an answer to something like this... XPize makes a computer look XP. somebody before asked if xpize was going to have longhorn icons packaged up, but that was the answer so, long story short... NO

one thing i want to know... are you supposed to get the Please Wait..... screen after the boot screen on first boot after installing XPize? the screen itself looks like the regular xp install screen/windows post install, just without all the words, just a please wait..... at the top...

you could make it better by getting rid of the scrolling for the menu bar... in other words, move the globe and Kel's profile somewhere else... only the main area's (where all the info is displayed) frame has scrolling...

true, but when i use nlite, i just get rid of around 100MB of MS junk... but you have to think about it... it won't delete those pictures... (actually they are icons), and those icons are packed inside the cpl file. when i opened it with reshack, the right files were there, they just didn't show up... how can you guys make xp 100MB? is there a tutorial out there?

well its fixed now when i reformat... besides, i needed to reformat because something was wrong... well now it's fixed, nlited cd, but this time no RyanVM pack... that might have been the problem... @ Jeremy... all the files were there... also, the functionality wasn;t there... i get the debug error popup and then when i click not to debug, the whole window messes up! I went through the cpl file, and found that all the icons and pictures were there already... I don;t go around windows deleting... why would i clean out my HD when 80% of it is free?

it only appears after installing XPize? Did you use an nLited ISO? EDIT: these are lost images, not replaced images, so it is impossible XPize has removed them. Or at least thats what i think. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ya i used a nlite cd, but i think the problem lied with RyanVM's hotfix pack... i started a new cd, slipstreamed sp2 and removed a few components... reformat and now its ok...

I'm srry, but that didn't work either... well thanks anyways... gonna reformat the old way... using original cd... and sp2 installer...
