OrcoXP
I started fresh...-Not sure is the original source was SP2 retail or previously integrated-English VLK-RyanVM Update Pack v1.2.2 Medium-RyanVM's NoWMP9 fix-WMP10 SlipstreamerRyanVM's NoWMP9 removes references to WMP10 hotfixes...So I added these back into the svcpack.inf:-KB885353.cat (Wmnetmgr.dll)-KB892313.cat (Wmp.dll)-KB895181.cat (Mp4sdmod.dll)There are others related to WMP10 but obsolete since the 3802 build came out...The files still needed to be added for KB885353 & KB892313...I have attached the files and they are ready to go into the I386 folder...The file for KB895181 was comman between WMP9 and WMP10 so it was added by RyanVM already...Maybe these files and the could be integrated into the next build of the Slipstreamer? Lemonzest
by updated dll's i mean i extracted the updated dll's from the wmp10 hot fixes, cabed them and over wrote the exsiting files in the i386 folder, all went fine. wmp says no updates needed. windowsmedia10-kb893240-x86-enuwindowsmedia10-kb893241-x86-enuwindowsmedia10-kb898549-x86-enuwindowsmedia-kb895181-x86-enuthese are the hot fixes i used, the other ones were older, these are the newest i could find. BoardBabe
The manual way seems to have worked fine on Norwegian system. WMP10 runs fine. Anything i should look for to verify it all worked?
Gnome
@RyanVM: If you need some info just pm me and i'll send it to you, I think makeing the wmp10 part of your update pack would make things alot easier @Zorro1: Thanks@Boardbabe: Could you please expand the WMP10SP2.INF file in your i386 folder and check that all the entries are localized(they are at the bottom of the file) and maybe double check if the files or whatever(i don't really know what's different from the localized vs english ) match your language...@Everyone: If you are using non english Windows Xp you could add the entry to SYSOC.INF Manually and it'll work perfectly.. I don't really understand why Fedit corrupts NON english Sysoc..Add this entry to the Components section of SYSOC.INFWMP10Files=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,WMP10SP2.INF,HIDE,
