xper Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 IE forever. Properly configured. Not running WinXP as admin. Never virus or spyware.
SiMoNsAyS Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 if timeline is correct i'll be using firefox 1.5/2.0 (i suppose ie7 will be pushed back like any m$ product).i doubt ie7 will come with tabs support and/or plugins/extensions/themes support as any mozilla product, firefox is a non-return road lol
xper Posted February 23, 2005 Author Posted February 23, 2005 (i suppose ie7 will be pushed back like any m$ product).I think you are member in a wrong forum.
Zxian Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I still like my Opera since it has other features. For other computers that however, IE 7 will be on there.
chilifrei64 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 They're all gonna be flawed anyways. Firefox has already had its share of exploits. IE7 till the end...
Nanaki Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 (i suppose ie7 will be pushed back like any m$ product).I think you are member in a wrong forum.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>No, it's just plain sense.Firefox all the waaay. MSIE is down and out for me. I'd rather stick with no viruses than risk it all again.
XPero Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Let's be honest. All of us are going to give a try to IE7, arent you? I definitely will use it. I like MS products the more: easy and pretty guis. The only thing required is to know a little about using it, so you wont have any spyware/virus. Thats all.P.D: Now you can start throwing me bombs...
SiMoNsAyS Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 (i suppose ie7 will be pushed back like any m$ product).I think you are member in a wrong forum.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>it is a fact that every new m$ product comes months after that when it was announced. i'm not really a fan of gate's company, btw i must admit that windows is the best OS ever created... constructive criticism is always welcome lol. i think i'm in the correct forum anyway @XPero, well as you said i'll definetly take a look at it (i'll be forced to include it on my uA even if i don't like to prevent security holes), but i only wait from it a hotfix, like any cumulative update at the moment.
Lost Soul Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 im running firefox but when ie7 comes around ill definatly have a test run but for now i feel the best way is firefox
bucketbuster Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I'm an Opera-addict since Opera 5.x and I'm gonna use it till death do us part.
nzrandom Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I will stick with Firefox as I can't see IE ever introducing ad blocking, or a modular system like Firefox's
Macstorm Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Despite of its 'security vulnerabilities' discovered from time to time, IE will keep ruling forever ALL of webpages around cyberspace work perfectly on it
