cancer10 Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Spyware takes aim at Mozilla browsershttp://news.com.com/Spyware+takes+aim+at+M..._3-5569635.html
DigeratiPrime Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 so there is no spyware that exploits a wekaness in Firefox, but there might be in the future. ok, this sounds only like 'FUD'.Even if spyware appeared I doubt it could ever reach the magnitude of tourture that IE was/is.
epic Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I just wonder if one GIANT company has anything to do with this... *cough*
TiXer Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Not all that scary, really.. And not very surprising...

FthrJACK Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 They will target whatever is popular, this is just proof of Firefox's continued success. spammers, telemarketers, and spyware propagators = like flies around brown stuff.
sonu27 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Thank God, I'm using firefox.So I don't have to worry.
Jeremy Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Thank God, I'm using firefox. So I don't have to worry.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>God didn't make the choice you made, you did. So thank yourself. Someday Firefox and Opera users may have to beware of spyware. But hopefully while 89% of the market share is dominated by IE to continue attracting malicious coding morons, Firefox and Opera will have the opportunity to increase their security measures as to be 3 or 5 steps ahead of spyware.I have 0 spyware, 0 viruses, very few ads, and 0 pop-ups. I'm satisfied with my browser.
