Denney
.cat files contain information/hashes/signatures for the files that the update updates. The reason you add the .cat files to [ProductCatalogsToInstall] is so that the .cat files are registered and so Windows doesn't complain about files being modified/hacked. dlevens
I have CAT files for all the hotfixes that the integrated switch worked for, but for the non hotfixes and ones that integrate does not work, where do you get the CAT file? For instance the CAT files for these (KB885835 and KB885250)Dennis

RyanVM
If you can't /integrate a hotfix, there's really no point in adding its CAT file to svcpack.inf. Just run the exe from svcpack.inf and let it sort out the WFP stuff.

Reino
Well, since I only have "/q /o /n /z" behind the filenames I guess that isn't necessary
Starbuck3733T
I just nLite integrated the whole list, and for some reason KB885835 didn't take. everything else works fine.
Incroyable HULK
Just a little word to tell that I've been integrating all the hotfixes from the beginning (14 updates) in a fresh XP SP2 i386 distribution folder and then I added the removal tool + the GDI detection tool manually to my svcpack.inf and I saved about 10Mo in comparison of only adding the newer hotfixes... There was a TempCatalogSomething in the svcpack folder which is no longer needed...
