First post updated, standart installation procedure but this time final :P

heads up guys,

nero is using a new protection system. if the serial has been used

by someone else nero will default into demo mode.

hehehe pretty smart of them.

lieblingsbesuch,

msfn does not allow PUBLIC discussion of pirating or cracking. :) pls edit your post.

but for your info the special orion keygen no longer works or will not work soon.

nero has already blacklisted those keys or will do so in the next few days

nero goes on line to check the keys now.

and if it finds that one u are using is a pirated or illegal key u R back to DEMO

If you only want Nero you can replace everything, just leave the Nero folder and I think it will be down 10Mb (Untested).

Does that mean that Nero actually doesn't need to be installed using setup.exe?

So I can just take the Nero folder and put it in Program Files and Nero will work?

And if I want to keep the audio-plugins; is it the same procedure?

And everything I don't want, has to be replaced by dummy-files?

  • Author

@bucketbuster that means you can replace everything in the installer with dummy files except setup files, nero folder and plugins folder and it isn't tested.

@lieblingsbesuch, Astalavista said it before please edit your post. this board is very sensitive with those questions/suggestions and i want to edit my first post with 6.6.0.X changes :lol:

Thanks SiMoNsAyS for this great guide :thumbup

I managed to make a silent install package that installs Nero, Nero WaveEditor, extracts audioplugins to the right folder, silently registers and removes some shortcuts, folders and files.

ALL in one package.

@bucketbuster wow really glad to help B) :thumbup

@lieblingsbesuch thanks ;)

SiMoNsAyS,

could you please explain us one thing:

i built a package upon your descriptions for 6.6.0.0

Now that 6.6.0.1 is out, how could i update my .0.0 package?

just open up both "exe" files in winrar, and copy then over the new files in my package?

thanks

alex

@Rodent, delete the previous installer and just rebuilt your installation.

there are many differences between versions to simply drag and drop to update your previous 6.6.0.0.

is there a way to silently install the second package (its called the Vision Express 3 package) but only install Vision Express and Recode, not the other applications included in this package?

the package includes:

Package 2

* NeroVision Express 3

* Nero Recode 2

* Nero ShowTime 2

* Nero PhotoSnap

* Nero MediaHome

http://www.nero.com/en/nero-prog.php

Showtime is to play media files... wich I already can play in Media Player Classic or Winamp, Photosnap is useless.. I have Xnview for fotobrowsing/minor editing and PSP for photoediting, MediaHome is also something I will never use..

If I just delete the folders in the installation package I think it will result in an error cause the installer cannot locate the files... (not tested)
