ChrisX64 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I love Shareaza, especially with the recent release of 2.2.0.x. LimeWire is great also, and I prefer BitComet for downloading torrents as it is much lighter than Azureus being that it is written in C++.
Woomera Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 shareaza of course,it supports bittorent, edonkey ... and the speed is very good.nice interface and really easy to use.
SHJ10 TIENCHA Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Well the best one I ever had was WinMx. Dont know what happened but it stoped working. Now I use Limewire, its not that bad.
celtish Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I use LimeWire PRO, I've not had any real problem with it. I use the free BearShare as a backup. What do members think about BearShare?
ripken204 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 me no like bearshare, first of all i hate how it looks, makes me feel like a retard... lol i use limewire pro and bitcomet, and they work very good together
bluedanube Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I've used Ares since WinMX curled up and died. Can't fault it so far.
Thunderbolt 2864 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Currently I like Limewire. It is good to find common files and video files. the bad side is, I look for rare files, and its most likely I won't be able to find it on Limewire, only Soulseek and DC++ is one of the only clients which can actually find rare files. I use to like Kazaa, since all that stupid adware and spyware bulls*it came along I stopped using it. I haven't touched it since then. BitTorrent is alright, its crap if there is hardly any seeders though, but I like it if it has plenty of seeders, you can get a high download speed.
Mocht4R Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 It all depends what you are downloading. If your downloading music, go with limewire, ares, and that junk. But if you're into movies, shows, and stuff that takes a long time to download go with bit torrents.
Jeremy Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I think it's something like 50% of the p2p community is ruled by torrents now and those other programs (eMule, EDonkey, Shareaza, LimeWire) are eventually going to vanish.
pawan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I have tired Limewire, it is good, but emule have a large user data. Pawan
SirSpammer Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Its LimeWire all the way... I have looked at many diffrent p2p prgrams and after having my computer f***ed many times, i have to say lime wire is the overall best. Ok it might not have the files, but along with Bareshare it has the best speed. There has not been any songs or games i havent been able to find, only a few programs, i dought any of you would be looking for. The only bad thing about limewire is the fact that some people block all uploads, and that it is not popular enough with people. Once everyone realises the benefits, Limewire will take over.. Espeshaly LimeWire pro... Which you can download from limewire itself. Get Limewire, See for yourself... P.S. Sorry for the spelling, im in a rush...
butman0 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 (edited) Emule. BitComet is more faster but after a month you can't find an old links. Edited February 10, 2006 by butman0
