I dont get 2 os choices at boot up. I just happen to have 2 drives with 2 windows xp copies installed on it, because the slave harddrive i use was once a master harddrive.

I have 2 hard-drives installed on my computer, but they both have windows installed. If i format 1 of the harddrives through [control panel; admin tools; computer managment] will my other harddrive be affected in any way? Thanks!

Hello, My msn doesn't have the handwriting tool for some reason. I have tried reinstalling, uninstalling then installing, patching (a-patch), getting other versions of windows, and looking in the options to see if I have checked everything right. I have the journal viewer installed, but this handwriting tool just doesn't work for me for some odd reason. I know this is something silly to spend time on, but it's frustrating. Thanks alot Andromeda43, that was the problem. The cd. I got my sisters xp cd and it worked perfectly.

When i try to boot my windows xp cd from my cd drive, it doesnt boot. I made sure that in the bios, cd drive was first in order. It still doesnt boot from cd. Do you have any suggestions? Title Edited - Please follow the forum rules from now on -- Martin L

My HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} is exactly the same as yours, but my computer doesn't open, either does recycle bin. Is there _anything_ else that i could do?

Can you tell me all the strings, and values of the strings that are supposed to be in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}. Because i think i might be missing a few of the strings, or the values have been tweaked. Thanks.
