I need *PROOF*, please.

Just one example, officially supported by Firefox, I'm pretty sure by Chrome, too.

Intel® Identity "Protection" (Unique fingerprint in your CPU) Technology ‡

Intel® Identity "Protection" in Firefox

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1076445

"Firefox finds many plugins that are preinstalled on your system...

Intel touts Identity Protection Technology as helping prevent identity theft by allowing websites to uniquely identify your computer, which can limit access from other computers if someone learns your username and password:"

When I check my account "security settings", it lists all devices and locations I ever logged in from, just check yours.

This is not evidence of a "fingerprint".

I only log into MSFN from THREE computers, been that way for my entire "life span" here at MSFN - work Win10, primary home Win10 (was XP more than 90 days ago), and secondary home Win10 (also XP more than 90 days ago).

If I were to go by that "security settings devices" list, then I apparently have TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN Win10 machines that I accessed MSFN from in the past 90 days.

How can you claim that to be some form of "proof" of fingerprinting?  If that list only listed the THREE computers that I use, then that list would mean something.

Intel® Identity "Protection"

Doesn't this require an Intel third-party (ie, non-OS) utility/driver to be installed?

If this came pre-installed, don't you only have yourself to blame if you didn't remove/disable?

If not pre-installed but you installed this, don't you only have yourself to blame?

If you allowed Windows Update to install this, don't you only have yourself to blame?

What does it have to do with me? I'm asked to enter my e-mail (each time I log in) just as you, meaning I obviously don't have those.

You confused me with someone else. Besides, I'm not famous and clear cookies.

This is not, but the official Intel Tracking Technology in processors is, and if you noticed, the article is almost a decade old, meaning even those ancient mammoth's excrement processors already had them including those on laptops, phones, etc.

You don't have to "install" anything, it's already in the CPU and controlled by the browser. Did you read the links? It's similar to echelon.

Not to mention, every PC has a black box OS.

What is "IPS"?

Invision Power Services, the company who makes the forum. And re your second post, what you see with the duplicates is what I was referring to in my post.

Hmm, guess I missed the boat.  Last time I logged in was before the summer with just my username.  Password is fine, but I dont remember the email address I used to register

@Tripredacus Can I get back into pappyN4, or shall i just be pappyN4v2 from now on?

for bonafides, my IP address should be the same as before...  or PM on wincert or mydigitallife with same username

Then, theoretically, they would let you in like me. Because we were already fingerprinted with the location. When the flags were reset, everyone showed their real location.
