UCyborg Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) @Reino You're not the only one with problems with that script. https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=31606 Still trying to make sense out of Discord, looking for that extension they were yapping about. What a unholy mess... Edit: Eh, that extension doesn't do anything here, just loads plain old YouTube. Right, the extension doesn't come from the main developer, who doesn't really care for browsers outside ChromeZilla. So that explains why it's a mess. Edited September 28 by UCyborg

Unfortunately, the popup window was somewhat broken. No button for applying and no description where to insert inputs. Here is a screenshot from this broken OAuth2 popup window: Both my accounts are getting a full screen with buttons, maybe yours is related to cookies and or javascript? Or possibly that it's regional differences that goes to the link of the sign-in page. For me normal passwords continue to work so Microsoft is probably rolling out those changes slowly instead of all at once.
Sampei.Nihira Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The Oauth2 code I provided to Roytam (who then entered it into Mailnews) dates back to Thunderbird 60: https://msfn.org/board/topic/181832-yahoo-mail-and-oauth2/ I wonder if it is still 100% functional. If a password change is needed try this with a modern email-client (and then browser) and then verify the email again. 1

If you use it in Pale Moon and probably also in the 64-bit version of Pale Moon, then it may well be that the extension does not work, at least what I read in the Discord thread. Under Windows XP 32-bit, the VORAPIS V3 scipt and the corresponding extensions work in New Moon 28, Serpent 52 and Mypal 68. I haven't tested so far other browsers. Sampei.Nihira Posted September 28 Posted September 28 TH. But you will be younger than me. I am 61 years old.

Try "incognito" mode, a private window. That seems to break it. But otherwise, video player doesn't break, so it's a progress.

Reino Posted September 28 Posted September 28 6 hours ago, AstroSkipper said: But more interesting is whether it now works for you or not. 6 hours ago, Reino said: I had to disable the "GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter" in uBlock Origin Legacy and in uMatrix I had to allow "pages.dev", "vorapis.pages.dev", "www.googleapis.com" (+ frame), "content-youtube.googleapis.com" (+ frame) and "youtube.clients6.google.com" (+ frame). ...to make it work. Well, to have it load the page at least. I'm not interested in anything else, because I don't/can't use New Moon to watch Youtube videos anyway.

And here is the proof that it is also working in a private window: Not here, not in PM, NM, 32-bit, 64-bit... But installing userscript turbolauncher.js inside the XPI in Greasemonkey, then it works in both private and non-private windows. Of course I removed the XPI from add-ons list. No issue with the player itself. Edited September 28 by UCyborg
