with chrome and XP this is unlikley to happen

since rebuild 7 one can open at least 50 tabs with only 4GB of RAM or more depending on the PAE patch and mobo

on Serpent 52 I have had more than 300 tabs open at a time. 

I sleep better when the computer is powered on so you are correct and I don't like much to close the browser.

long story short, chrome is really RAM efficent because RAM usage drops while you close tabs

Serpent on the other hand, if you run out of memory or keep the browser open for long hours then RAM usage will increase 

RAM usage won't drop till your reach a threshold of a certain number of tabs

the Flash icon is back on MSFN site only, it doesn't show up on any other sites....

I do not get this with MY skin file and you are using a custom skin file.

I do not provide support for custom skin files (even if they are not modified and downloaded directly from the Chinese skins page).

That is where that icon is stored.  I remove Flash icons, Chinese social media icons, Chinese search engine icons, et cetera from my skin.

The skin has EVERYTHING to do with that F icon.  EVERYTHING.

The "trigger" for the icon is stored in the skin file.

There is no "Flash" content here at MSFN, Flash died in 2020.

Are you seeing any "Flash" content here at MSFN?  Is one of your ads being served as "Flash"?

Please also be advised that "official upstream" labeled build 1030 as experimental and the translation index numbers do not match with other builds.

What that means is that the INDEX your skin file is pointing to is saying FLASH but the correct INDEX might not have anything to do with FLASH.

Not true.  Icons displayed in that region of the address bar could indicate 3rd party cookies, could indicate geolocation, could indicate whether your mic or webcam is allowed or blocked on the site you are on, there are DOZENS of icons that can be there.

And if your INDEX numbers are off, then just because the icon says FLASH that does not mean the actual trigger is FLASH.

You could easily unzip the .srx of your skin into a folder, delete the F icon .png, then rezip the folder to a .zip and rename the .zip extension .srx.  Whoala, F icon gone!
