Agreed !!!

I'm only pointing out that the "discussion" here probably should be about "tuning" cleartype font rendering on the machines that display such UGLY A$$ fonts.

Mypal isn't really doing the font rendering, the OS is, and how that OS is "tuned" will have a HUGE difference in what fonts "look like".

These types of "issues" can **ALWAYS** be fixed by the end user !!!

Just replace the "Bitter" font defined by that page's CSS to a different font, whoala, problem solved.

ie, the below is from that page, just replace Bitter with the font of your liking.

body.small-title.widget-title.tv-featured-title {
  1.
    font-family: Bitter;

If I wanted to, I could switch to other fonts that look much nicer and more professional in a matter of seconds. It’s really simple to do this in the Mypal 78 settings or using a CSS stylesheet, which I can load on the fly at any time via my forked UserCSSLoader script. But as long as I can read everything clearly, I couldn’t care less about the font used.

About Mypal 78.0.3, there is an issue with fonts display...

Take a look on the comments below the article of this french web page:

This is the font being used by https://www.minimachines.net/actu/taxe-petits-colis-double-peine-142239

https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Bitter

I agree, it doesn't render well...

Now, lets block fonts.googleapis.com (which I usually do) . . .

font2.jpg.eed1216e7173d6b48f5d872696d7990f.jpg

. . . but that doesn't prove anything because that just corresponds to my settings.

We could do this all day . . .

The question remains. Why doesn't the Bitter font render properly?

. . . and no more pictures of people's own font setting. :D

Define "properly"?  XP (ie, most of you) has different "smooth edges" font settings and not all of you are using the same OS SETTINGS.

Are you smoothing the edges of fonts?  If so, are you using Standard or ClearType?

Even if the browser is denied that "Bitter" font, it still has to fall back to something, and if that font isn't even installed, then it falls back to something else entirely.

Then there is also GDI versus DirectWrite.

There are a lot of factors at play here.

Anyone tried recently Ebay login with 78.0.3? In my case when it prompts "Checking your browser before you access Ebay" it's crashing the tab.Dunno if they made an update on Ebay, but few days ago it normally worked,

Still no fix for Cloudflare? This keeps me from so much. Been four+ months

Don’t be misled! Quoting from old, already closed and resolved at the time issues serves no purpose and is misleading. I’ve opened a new issue on GitHub today: https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues/723
One thing is clear. If you use a browser that doesn’t support Cloudflare’s security nonsense, you won’t get very far in these days, and it’ll be useless. Indeed, Cloudflare = Cauldron Filthcare:P
