360 Extreme Explorer Modified Version

Recommended Posts

So perhaps someone could confirm my findings:

In Process Hacker, I've 9 MiniBrowser.exe processes.

Under one MiniBrowser.exe, three Modules in "Relocated Dll" color:

336 kB libegl.dll - SwiftShader libEGL 32-bit Dll

2.64 MB libglesv2 SwiftShader libGLESv2 32-bit Dll

124 kB mfplat.dll - Media Foundation Platform Dll

NO remote ports/connections, very good! (seen in CrowdInspect).

With DCBrowser 8-16 DCBrowser.exe processes - remote calls from google, cloudflare.. and mysterious setaptr.net ("reseller platform"?) in CrowdInspect.

CrowdInspect download (portable): https://www.crowdstrike.com/resources/community-tools/crowdinspect-tool/

I wish I knew how to help, but I don't.

Do you use a loader or just run as is?

Any different findings with the switches.

 --no-first-run --disable-file-system --disable-gpu --disable-logging --disable-webg --disable-component-update --disable-background-networking --ssl-version-min=tls1.2 --enable-strict-mixed-content-checking

I run the browser very slim as well.

Thank you for that program and should I be concerned about this?

AFAIK those are normal connections the browser does, I remember having those as well on the Ungoogled Chromium build I tested. I wasn't able to eliminate them unfortunately, but they seem to be for some of check or something like that (I can't tell what they do to be honest). Maybe others can tell the purpose of those.

https://ipinfo.io/104.18.64.82 --> Cloudflare

https://ipinfo.io/151.101.116.159 --> Fastly

https://ipinfo.io/185.150.190.236 --> ReliableSite.Net LLC

Also, they usually occur when the browser is fetching information from a website you are accesing (they would appear when any extenal connection is made).

Nothing bad, all is OK! And I've too csrss.exe and one svchost.exe gray mark and two ?? under Inject.. it's nothing bad then...

If not in the future, you can close TCP.

PS.

My version is 1.5.0.0, I see that you have two more buttons: Localhost, System... from time to time they release a new version, thanks for waking me up!

How I can implement them, please?.. - You would say that you don't have positive changes after implementing them?

OH ... well I just create a shortcut to the executable, so assuming you were to have DcBrowser application "C:\Program Files\DcBrowser

"C:\Program Files\DcBrowser\DcBrowser.exe" ... create shortcut wherever you want to it and in the target field [ note the space between each switch ]

 --no-first-run --disable-file-system --disable-gpu --disable-logging --disable-webg --disable-component-update --disable-background-networking --ssl-version-min=tls1.2 --enable-strict-mixed-content-checking

what version of 360 chrome is recommended on windows 10?

None of them, in my honest opinion.

I personally use https://github.com/GTANAdam/GDIChromium/releases on my Win10 installs as my default.

I also like https://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/Internet/Browsers/Advanced-Chromium.shtml (but it's true home page [http://browser.taokaizen.com/] has been down since Jan 1 or thereabouts).

I always keep https://github.com/ungoogled-software/ungoogled-chromium/releases around also, but my home cable streaming service does not work on it but does in GDIChromium.

I avoid V12 and V11 is very fast but outdated, 13.5 is good.

I do recommend trying DcBrowser.

You don't need to use 360EE any Chinese Chromium-based browser on Windows 10 at all :P
I recommend Ungoogled Chromium as it is the only one I use on Win7 for example (you can get binaries for your platform from here) --> https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/

A Firefox alternative (that is a Firefox fork) can be LibreWolf (Seems nice to be fair) --> https://librewolf.net/

Cheers.
