no idea!?

Hi, i try to shrinl my office 2003 italian.

1. setup /a of my office 2003

2. slipstreaming of sp2

3. slipstreaming of some hotfix with this LINK

4. insert in the dir my .mst file

5. launch shrink_lang02, choose italian and at the final i have 7mb of office.

Can you help me?

1. Have you ran Office Shrinker in a clean environment?

I just gave this a shot with my Office 2003 Student Edition, worked perfectly. Thank you so much for your hard work buckeyeXP!

I just need one of these for Frontpage 2003

Two thoughts:

If that is your .ini file, it must be wrong for sure.

You have to replace

retry=&Retry

and

error=Error

for the same word in italian.

Have you read this post?

Just execute the attached file and you will see a box with two buttons: "retry" and "cancel" in your OS language. Use the word on the left.

It's just a simple Autoit script:

MsgBox(5,"Retry in Italian","")

Unfortunately I can't figure out how to create an error message with Autoit, so that you can see the equivalent of "error" in your OS language. Maybe one of our Autoit masters could help

Well... I tried to do all the steps, but when I got in the 17 step (the last) of the Office Resource Kit (I'm using the Office 2k) I can't change the command of the instalation (setup.exe TRANSFORMS="C:\Office 2000\Unattended.MST" /qn+). When I try to delet or modify them nothing happens...

It's not there that you have to change that command. That field in ORK is not changeable, it's just an example. You just have to click the exit button and it's all done.

You have to change it in the batch that will execute the Office installation, get it?

Well, as there has been 7 people that downloaded my autoit script in here, I upload now a new autoit script that will tell you the 2 words that you need to replace for Office Shrinker to work in any non-english language: "retry" and "error".

I made it just to improve my autoit knowledge.

I can't move farword when Office shrinker ask for "setuppls.exe" file in Source office.

Does anyone know how to install M$ Word from office 2000 professional and only Word.

I dont use outlook,powerpoint etc....I just want Word.

Can i shrink office XP without slipstreaming it or (updating it).

i want to install only word, excel & powerpoint. But i m using dialup connection so i can't update, it took many time.

So if possible please describe step-by step to shrink office without slipstream.
