only on clean installed windows environment? i didn't have any clean installed pc or virtual machine soft, hope someday someone make something like this but with more friendly spec

I'm guessing you could uninstall office and try it.

yeah, i have downloaded virtual pc 2004 build 528 (newest one) and shrink the office 2k, but it's only strimmed over 100mb

my source : +- 300mb (Office 2000 SR-1 Premium)

my target (shrinked) : +- 230mb

what's wrong? do i need to run the script again?

You must have selected many applications (I selected only Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Support For clip-art for don't get errors)

After Office Resourse Kit + Shrinker i have 135MB and shrinker writen "Shrinkage of Office is complete. Total time 7 min. .... 1013 files", NOT "Shrinkage of Office is already complete" ???

but the only file I have got on the folder FILES is SETUP/CONFIPLS.INI

i don't think this is normal

vc devera utilizar o vmware ou virtual pc, instalar o xp sem office e fazer a personalizacao la

e que tenho muita pouca RAM (192mb) e ja esperimentei a VM da miscrosoft e nao deu

EDIT: ja li a pagina mt obrigado parece que vou ter de criar partiçoes

Desistalar n vai ser a sua solução, pq o office n desista-la do windows todas as Dlls necessarias, assim quando vc gera o shirink ele iria verificar o que ja esta instalado e copiar apenas os arquivos e DLLs que faltaa, deixando sua pasta de instalação menor do se espera.

Tenta fazer em outra maquina ai

Eu e muitos outros fizeram por la e funcionou tudo normalmente, mas... qualquer coisa... estamos ai
