When some pages are loaded, a large black box opens momentarily at the top of the page and then disappears.

I just wanted to sign in with this account per iceweasel (afair the 3.0.6)/debian. the board showed me in the online list, but showed also that I'm not signed on and so couldn't download files.

I'm now online per FirefoxPortable 3.6 on WinXP, but I'd be more happier to use a linux machine for internet using. The WinXP machines are for testing only, not for surfing.

I have to agree with you there. I don't like this one bit. I understand the frustration some people have when trying to get someone off an old OS and onto a new one, but this doesn't feel like MSFN anymore. Not as easy to see stuff and more scrolling needed. I would definitely like an old skin which looks just like it did beforehand.

Custom made SEO urls turned off. Will not be enabled again. When we upgrade to IPB 3.0.5 we will correct all links as IPB 3 have SEO integrated and friendly urls we be permanent.

We apologize for any trouble cased by this but we have to do it this way.

Are you saying that these (non-friendly) links will no longer work from other sites when the transition is complete and all bugs are fixed?

That being said, I'm posting to report the code function is not working correctly. Like, what's with the weird colours?

Also that a look at the post 5eraph references above, at the bottom of the post are several batch files that are supposed to be in code boxes.

Old ipb templates are 100% different from ipb3. That means old msfn skin doesn't work with ipb3.

Yeah I just would like it exactly like it was before. Looked fine, now everything is big and harder to understand. For example, sticky threads are no longer separate, they are just at the top. It is also harder to tell which topics I have already read as the icons are all different.

Also, it still needs me to log in every time I visit.
