Software wise, I use Umax Magic Scan. It ships with the highend Umax Scanners and has worked in similar situations with my all friends cameras and scanners. I also use M$ Word and M$ Office Doucument Imaging built into M$ Office for XP. Try disabling all capture devices execpt the camera. Device Manager - Sounds, Video, Games - legacy video devices, Properties - Select Do not use and do not map everything except your camera. All this does is disable other video devices that may be overriding the drivers for the camera. Similar to disabling network devices as you know. I had the same problem with a cheap first generation camera last summer.

Good board, but limited. FSB 200/266, I prefer FSB 533 on the i850 chipset 3 RAM Sockets, I prefer 4 RAM Sockets (4 sticks @ 256mb) If I wanted an Athlon XP I would consider this board.

AaronXP. Good idea. That would save everyone big bucks who wanted the fast throughput for new hard drives without buying a new motherboard! If there were a Tip of the Week category ... That would be it.

I did not know CloneCD would copy to two burners. I will try it this week. Very nice. Today I was looking at a stand alone burner. It only had one CD-ROM Reader and one DVD/CD Writer. Not sure if there was a hard drive in it. Some have hard drives and some don't. Those that don't usually copy on the fly. Anyway, I did not price it because they usually cost too much anyway. But, if I added another scsi writer to my scsi card I could burn two discs at the same time. Have you tried it with NERO?

Ross, Interesting configuration you have there. Two Plextor CD Writers and a DVD ROM. Do you burn to both writers at the same time?
