I wasn't posting to bump, I was posting to see if anyone knew how to log the install. I follow the instructions on ryanvm's site, and as far as I can tell the install goes well. No one? Is there any way to log the install besides sitting there for an hour watching it?

I've been working on my dvd for a while, and I get it to where I want it and then run in to this error. I've got the cd to work fine before but I've started trying to integrate hotfixes in to the cd and then the problems begin. I ran across this before and then decided to use ryanvm's post sp2 hotfix pack. The xp install goes good, untill it gets done installing windows then it freezes with a black screen and mouse cursor with the hourglass on it. I can not ctrl alt del out and I have to manually reset the computer, but when it reboots it goes straight to windows and starts the guirunonce portion of the ua dvd. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Hey guys, I've searched for this error and have not found the answer. I am trying to install zonealarm on my uA dvd using the runonce method. The problem I'm having is that a window pops up and says that it can not find the config file in c:\docume~1\LiVE\... I'm not real sure why this error is poping up, but i've tried everything to fix it. The zlclient.exe file is the program that creates the dialog. Any suggestions? If i click ok. It continues on down the line. With no other hiccups. This is the final obsticle to my dvd being complete. Thanks

This may be a dumb question, but it does not work with the runonceex method, correct? At least it doesnt for me.

Hello, first of all let me say thanks to all of you that maintain this site. I have been perfecting my uA cd/dvd for sometime now and refer to this site daily. My question is, I've managed to get all of my software set to install from the runonceex method, and it works like a charm, I'm just wondering if it would be any better to run it from the dvd? I have about a gig of software I install when I reinstall windows. If it would be wiser to set it all up from the dvd, I'd switch. The only difference I can figure is that it would save some time copying the files from the dvd, but only a few mins if that. Thanks for your input.
