  1. WS2k3 & XP64, are going to get an SP2 soon.... I do appreciate your effort, just wanted to mention that an offical SP was round the corner already.
  2. Thank you, and I hope 10 years down the line, "quality content" would still be our middle name!
  3. And finally, we're there: http://www.big-boards.com/board/1877/ http://search.big-boards.com/result.php?q=msfn&go=go I've been waiting a long time for this day!
  4. One member donating for others, may not be good. Each member would have to ask themselves if they want to donate, otherwise the value of "sponsor" group wont be special anymore. Also, the mods have plenty of tasks to do already - voting on a list of people to be made "sponsor" is a task that may not be possible or easy. Moreover, if you just want to donate some more, you can donate as much as you want - just see the "Donate to MSFN" link at top-right.
  5. Hmmm, as per profile, he is from Iran - maybe not very comfortable in English & politeness.... Ebrahim - Please make an effort to post in the right way. Else you'll either get banned, or your post will be ignored by those who're trying to help.
  6. This was originally posted in GeneralDiscussion. Its quite annoying when all kind of topics get started there despite having categories & separate sections on the forum....
  7. @midiboy: No need of VBscripts, just use this command-line for fully silent install: setup.exe /config pro.xml You shud execute this from your SMS scripts or thru unattended batch-files. Note that modifying the original config.xml is sub-optimal, it'd be better to specify path to a *.XML file that you've created! And to others, well, LIS configuration eludes me as of now. And yes, i did forget to mention that you need to run setup & when the first screen shows, grab the extracted files from your %temp%. And here's a link to some info that MS has now put up, for everyone to access - http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/deploy.mspx

  9. cheats & tips - 1, 2, 3 home & System Requirements - http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/riseofnationsrol.aspx Wiki/info - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_of_Legends I dont see much point downloading the demo. Its a 4-CD game, btw, and uses the AGEIA PhysX PPU engine, if it exists on your PC.
  10. This is warez, read forum guidelines, its not allowed. Stay within rules to avoid being banned, no further chances will be given. * topic locked
  11. Nor was 7!I think v9 was quite decent though... However, i still cant use wmp11 on XP64
  12. I said, it DOES work, thru command-line! (REG.EXE)Politeness, politeness....
  13. That would be the best - to stay with Nero 6.6
  14. Sanjay, its sad that this version (seems) to not support MSI properties. Else you could use an MSI tracking freeware app, and create a *.MST file (which contains all customizations), which could then be applied to the installer as: installer.MSI TRANSFORMS=custom.MST
  15. The simplest way to close overview, would be to run task-manager & see what processes are running. Then kill the relevant process (FILENAME.EXE) thru your script. To make it truly silent, you'll need to apply registration (user/serial) thru *.REG files. The registry files may contain absolute paths (C:\ or D:\) in which case you can use system-variables for paths, thru command line. Muiz has described the whole process above. When requesting for help, being polite may be a good idea....
  16. Just to clarify to those who'd like to know - its a beta (as the "b" in title indicates).
  17. The "luck" with Ghost2003 is probably because he has a supported SATA controller onboard....
  18. You haven't got it wrong, but this has already been posted on frontpage (not forum, the main portal).
  19. * This would be appropriate in HardwareHangout, moving topic to that section...
  20. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=announce&f=2&id=6 Topic moved to software hangout.
  21. Zxian, you're 3 months late, in discovering those hover-previews & changed keyboard shortcuts All those features been present since the TPs itself! And as said above, the beta1 is slightly older than last weekly build, so is a bit unstable. Anyways, you can always re-map keyboard shortcuts, but it would be better to get used to the new, since all browsers now have standardised them (IE7,firefox,Opera9). New Tab - Ctrl+T Bookmark - Ctrl+D (i'm still not fully used to atleast those 2 shortcuts, for which i was using the old-style ones, i keep tripping up on them once in a while)
