  1. I doubt you could do that... You cannot choose a resolution for setup, so I think this is impossible. Just test it on a ... let's say 20.1 inch screen with 1600*1200 resolution: again it will look like crap, setup uses always the same resolution: 640*480....
  2. Nanaki is right: -presetup.cmd will get executed BEFORE setup starts, so it will not start setup before the decompressing is complete -DetachedProgram gets executed DURING setup, so if you want to extract too much (on a too slow system), then it might not be finished by time (depending on what files (for what purpose) you want to extract)
  3. Download the Win 98 deploy tools and check the ref.chm file.
  4. It is NOT included in SP2!
  5. Thanks for your report. But the fix you suggested first *should* work :s. However, I'll see if I didn't make another error somewhere. Moved post into the correct forum: DriverPack MassStorage
  6. It's definetely the harddisc controller that's causing this problem... (not your controller, but my DriverPack) It's listed under the current issues. I suppose you have a SiI3114r controller?
  7. ... and even a DOUBLE POST, while BOTH are in the WRONG forum! I don't even have any clue where I should put this. You aren't providing us with enough info... You could start with telling us which version of Win XP you're using...
  8. And... WTF ... is my answer. In what way does this have to do ANYTHING with my DriverPacks?
  9. @vphan13: Please download the Intel SoundMAX drivers, and make your own DriverPack with these. You can find a tutorial in the KB of my site. The BSOD should go away then. And btw... if it's ok, the BSOD CAN'T be caused by RyanVM's updatepack!
  10. I expected you'd post this
  11. @Nanaki: I was going to use the setuporg.exe file
  12. You can write it if you want, but currently it's not worth the effort for me. By the way: nLite does that already!
  13. You CAN add SATA drivers when you set OemPreinstall=Yes. You just can't use F6... Please check if that file exists in the I386 directory.
  14. I've defintely thought of doing that. But IF I do so, I'd have to use those for the non-Mobility series as well. But maybe I can just use the .inf files, with some possible hacks. When I have the time, I'll figure that out.
  15. Errr... I didn't know the Forceware drivers didn't work on the Mobile brothers of the GeForce series? I thought this was only the case for ATI?
  16. hmm... you're right I guess... Another change that will be in the next version
  17. Well.. maybe And I agree, larciel, the market isn't moving that fast...
  18. I especially like the change you made to the tagfile The next version of DPs BASE will inherit this!
  19. In fact... I didn't... Because: 1) the world is switching to broadband (ok, not everywhere, but you get the point) 2) there's an ENORMOUS number of different modems I *might* start it, but then I will NOT search for drivers myself, I will fully rely on you, the users then! And first comes DP Chipset.
  20. ohhh!!! Thanks erik_demon This is VERY useful
  21. Huh? Since V5.03 this IS done automatically, and since V5.03.1 or 2 it's working properly! Which version of the DPs BASE are you using?
  22. hehe ok I think a mirror-system might be useful yes But that's not for now, within 2 weeks I'll start working on that (after my exams)
  23. Well... what can I say to this? ... speechless ... 'Thank you very much' may be appropriate, but 'I appreciate these kinds words *very* much' might be better. I guess my English isn't good enough to answer you in the right words... Posts like these keep me going Thanks again! /me feeling somehow proud
  24. ohhhhhhhh I didn't know that! Now THAT's why on some boards it wasn't recognised... Thank you!
