  1. Hi Everything works and I can create the ISO etc. When however I load the ISO using VMWARE. when the masstorage drivers are loaded, after each one it asks about the driving signing policy. I have made an unattended with BTS packs etc. When I manually add the BTS packs to my unattended cd in the past without using Powerpacker I do not get this error. Any thoughts?
  2. Just copy and paste the code from his scripts
  3. Hi Not sure if I am doing something wrong as I followed all of the instructions, however 2 issues: 1. Cannot create an ISO file - it always says check space but I have gigs free. I tried it on a number of drives. 2. Cannot intergrate Ryans cab files no matter what I do Please help and thanks for a great product
  4. Either use this project: http://unattended.sourceforge.net/ which I used to use and is very good although it takes some time to set up and get your head around it or what I would do is: Build one pc, image it and then SYSPREP it so that you need to enter the key.
  5. Isn't the idea of these forums to make the ultimate unattended Windows XP CD or DVD. I think everyone should be encouraging him rather than putting him down etc. From what I have read he shows no disrespect to anyone. I say best of luck, I am an IT Professional and we use various ways of deploying OS such as Ghost and SMS but I am always on the lookout for new ways of doing things etc. I will be happy to beta test for you.

  7. I have never tried IZarc before so I cannot comment but I have been using 7zip for ages and it is fantastic. So 7zip all the way for me :-)

  10. Please read this post: Via Serial Ata - Vt8237 - Etc
  11. Hi Yes, it is true, I have got my VIA controller (VT8237) to now work with the driverpacks and I would firstly just like to say that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with Bashrats packs. I was getting frustrated at not being able to get it to work so I thought I would sit down and try and do something about it. I decided to read through all of Bashrat's batch files that he uses and try and make sense of it all. The conlusion is that the logic and skill in his batch files is flawless. Excellent work in my opinion, well done. It enabled me to get a better understanding of the processes that were running under the hood, or so to speak. I had tried so many ways to get it to work in the past and I was pulling my hair out as to why it wouldn't work. Then I read an interesting post by GdragoN Slipstreaming VIA SerialATA Drivers For the first time I noticed something interesting. In his .rar file, the file was name viasraid.sys but in Bashrats pack it was viamraid.sys....I was puzzled... I then went and downloaded the SATA driver for my board from the ASUS site and the SATA driver from VIA's site and what do you know, they are named differently for some unknown reason. The one from ASUS is viasraid.sys and the one from VIA is viamraid.sys. I looked through Bashrat's slipstream_DPM.cmd batch file and I noticed that it only made reference to the viamraid.sys file. I wanted all of the other MassStorage drivers to still be included in the .iso file along with all of the other driverpacks so I wanted a way of editing it yet still keeping all ofd these files. I then deleted any reference to the viamraid.sys file in the slipstream_DPM.cmd batch file and added the following to the appropriate sections, courtesy of GdragoN: [sourceDisksFiles] viapdsk.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 viasraid.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149 = "viasraid" PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_4149 = "viapdsk" [sCSI.load] viasraid = viasraid.sys,4 viapdsk = viapdsk.sys,4 [sCSI] viapdsk = "VIA ATA/ATAPI Host Controller" viasraid = "VIA Serial ATA RAID Controller" I then opended up the MassStorage compressed file, removed the viamraid riles and added in the viasraid files from the Asus site. I put it all back together, made my iso and ran it and what do you know....IT WORKED PERFECTLY So what have I concluded from this: 1. There seems to be a viasraid driver and a viamraid driver for the same controller but I have no idea why or what the difference is. 2. The Driverpacks work perfectly when I put the correct files in them. 3. There is NO error in the driverpacks, so well done Bashrat :-)
  12. This is the same controller and issue that I am having. I have an Asus K8V Deluxe Motherboard with VT8237 controller. It used to work though Bashrat.....a few versions ago and it all worked perfectly....so something must have changed somewhere....
  13. THis is straight off the web site, does this help? Dual SATA RAID The Promise 20378 RAID controller incorporated two Serial ATA and one parallel connectors with RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1 functions while the VT8237 RAID controller provides another two Serial ATA connectors for RAID 0 and RAID 1 functions. The K8V is the ideal solution to enhance hard disk performance and data backup protection without the cost of add-on cards.
  14. Bashrat and Others I have been using the driverpacks since you first came up with them, with little or no problems, so firstly thanks for the great effort. My problem is that my last few discs that I have made are causing my pc to bluescreen after the first reboot. Everything copies across perfectly, pc reboots, starts to load windows then bang, bluescreen, is very frustrting. Incidently it works perfectly under VMware. I am using the driverpacks plus Nlite plus Ryan's Packs plus Windows Post Installer. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I have an Asus V8V Deluxe Motherboard and Seagate SATA Drives in Raid 0. Weird how it works perfectly in VMware.???
  15. Thanks Bashrat, good job of fixing it so quickly and good job of Mr.Gamer for discovering the error so quickly. For some reason the RD command in the GUIRUNONCE portion of winnt.sif fails to work on mine...weird ??
