Hermit: It really depends on your fav color, I like grey/silver/blue those types of colors, so I stick with themes that support that. Others like themes with some connections to movies..I think Ls_Dragons has a thing for Lord of the rings, thus he has installed that theme .... I'm not at my comp hermit... I'm going back to college end of this month.. basically consists of 1. Toolbar ::::> Address bar + winamp controls + quick launch 2. Taskbar(autohide)::::> nav/winamp/nomadIImg/msn on always hide + aim/clock 3. Theme ::::> blackcomb pro 1.1 Reason I put address in toolbar: In IE I unlocked taskbar and have basically small icons with no (text/title) and the file menu on one line. Trying to max view but maintain effeciency.... I don't use coolmon and those programs anymore.... Sorry no screenshot till I get back ;-) I use one of the comps at home .. there are 3 desktops and 1 laptop here... all very plain :-( YAY finally one person has some some skinnin going on .. GO LS_Dragons!!!

I must be seeing things... as I was installing xp toys on my dad's comp... I noticed Iso Image Burner as well as audio shell player.. here is a shot. I downloaded the toys from ms website http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/dow...s/powertoys.asp the part that just confuses me.. they do not have any documentation about it at thier site. Odd... So if anyone was still interested in the whole toy package.. get it right now i guess.... btw was it always there? I could've sworn it wasn't there when I installed it on my comp.. wow there was a 2001? I never heard of that. all i know is that xp = 2002 I have xp running one system and 2000 on all the others... too lazy to upgrade... Although word is probably the most important app, I don't get what more can you possible add to it? you aren't giong to type faster with any newer versions? .. blah the only thing I like about xp is: speed and looks. but thanks Chris for the reply..

**** sorry to hear that.. (formatting ...) :cry I hate formatting... I try to only do it 1-2x/yr I think it's just some drivers don't uninstall(rollback) well. I've used the rollback a lot of times with nvidia's drivers... from 21.xx to the 22.xx (life saver....) :blueteam

Hi everyone, hope you all had/going to have a blast for new year's eve.. Anyone familiar with any development towards the new version of officexp? For example we know that "maybe" longhorn (winNT 5.2) is coming Q1 of 2003... How about the new office? if there is one? or is MS going to be pushing for the whole .net concept which till now I'm really confused about... It is basically going to be sort of an ASP and we "rent" the software?.. blah..

just a little info the ezcd 5.1 that is downloadable from roxio is xp compatible the other way to get ezcd to work on ur system is to grab ur copy of plat 5.0 , upgrade to 5.1, the update to 5.02c then again to 5.1 check thier site for details I'm pro ezcd as I like my apps pweety!!!, a lot of people recommend nero. Honestly they all do thier work. So choose any program you like. [best way... test them yourself] The cd burning from wmp is enabled by this file floating around the net. TRy http://www.windowsxp.nu/ and scroll to the bottom click on mp3 recording, it also has a file for dvd playback. since you like using wmp there are a lot of cool addons to it, download the wmp bonus pack. Another addon(old powertoy) if you want it a shell audio player, adding the play/stop/fwd/rwd/volume buttons on ur taskbar.... etc..

I've noticed the same bug, i do not know why it happens, but the way to fix it was just to switch to some theme and back to mine.. (as AaronXP said) Also I noticed that it only happened when I used certain themes, currently I'm running blackcomb pro 1.1 and prophecy blue 1.4 , haven't had the problem ever since. I wish I had ran some tests back when I first notice the problem, but I was too lazy hehe... oh well if any1 figures it out... please enlighten us ....
