I don't really use MSN, other than that ppl from forums use it.. Anyhow why does it time out so much? and how come it doesn't reconnect automatically like aim?

Is it me or everyone here seems to be using swish for thier flash sigs? (FthrJAck, xperties, etc...) What gives? Anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about check this out http://www.swishzone.com/ it's a program that makes flash with builtin effects, explode, etc...

yup... very sad.. I mean I just checked now stylexp and wb3 both cost the same... If anyone actually will "pay" for such a util .. w/o a doubt you should buy wb then you probably can afford getting those awesome wb skins. Last night, I was surfing and found some really amazing wb skins.. but they cost somwhere in the range of $10-20 as they come in packs of other skins etc.... I agree with ya conan... they tried to glorify stylexp tgtsoft is starting to upset me more and more these days...

strange.. I was just downloading the new beta5 for this comp.. and I saw this http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.html UXtheme util...downloading it right now and checking it out... sorry if this is old news..... this is the first time I've seen tgtsoft offer a free version of the original stylexp since they went shareware.... I'll re-edit how it works *well it is basically the same old way to use the uxtheme.dll, they didn't automate it or anything* oh well....

man I used to use rocketmail.. and they got bought out by yahoomail...and since I always used rocketmail... haven't changed since.... I just ended up adding my college email to my email list... I've had some probs with it too FthrJack.....

Is it me, or did yahoomail just get a new look? 01. clearer text? (different fonts maybe?) 02. adds a return icon when you reply to a message in your inbox? 03. added the flagged option / flag this message? 04. Added grey background to the header? 05. etc...

nice LS_Dragons.. sadly on my older system I just use classic (it actually makes a major difference in performance for me) ya i think fosi has dtopx and wb3 at his site... wb3 isn't all that bad.. the problem was I used one of the older ones and it sucked big time.... so when I discovered the hacked .dll for using non digitally signed themes.. I just ditched wb and moved on :-)

the trick is to log on the cooperate windows update site.. http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/d...?corporate=true After going there click windowsupdate, select winxp pro (eng)..and proceeed.... you'll notice a total of 23 updates.. I know there were a few ie problems, but they are now combined into 1 collective patch Other updates include (custom updates to drivers, etc...) Basically, I think conan is trying to figure out if when connecting to the net, you might have some net application crushing your system. so anything else running?(file sharing/instant messeging/firewall/etc..) after you roll back and connect it directly to usb, we might be able to figure out more about the sluggish problem... when checking in the task manager... make sure to do a before and after check. ususally when performance decreases it's due to: low memory, memory leak, startup program hog,multiple users logged, old video drivers, low hd space,a lot of stuff open etc... anyhow just tell us how it went..

yup yup... worst is that the other top 2 are sort of gone. www.getskinned.org (unavailable) www.boomgames.com (the guy tried selling it on ebay but no luck) thus now we go back to either getting it from the forums we subsribed to.. or the news/general customization sites that carry some mssstyles themes... :-( At least boomgames was sort of competing with themexp and getskinned was awesome as it had no ads... :-( hopefully they'll get back up...

Some poeple tend to save an image of thier CDs as .iso , there are also other formats that you can do that with [.nrg , bin/cue, etc..] Most poeple online use it to copy stuff. Example, some poeple downloaded an iso of winxp, entered some cd key and it worked for them... etc.. The ISO Burner included in the new powertoys, pretty much adds the function of burning .iso files using the builtin windowsxp burning software.

I really need more info to try to help.... When did this start happening? Did you install anything? System specs...just so I have an idea... etc... as a side note: sometimes when computer is "busy thinking" and you try to restart or something.. it might tell you explorer cannot respond. Solution "wait a little" .... that's what happens on of my older systems...
