Maybe you integrated your LAN card driver and it connected online to activate? That is the only thing that can be related with drivers and activation.

PowerDVD 7.3 works fine with almost no components kept, haven't tried 6. If you confirm this as a dependency then simply use the Protect Files option in the Components page and type that wer.dll as shown in the example line. It is the Error Reporting component. Also I can add the compatibility option to do that automatically for that app/file, if confirmed.

redrumy3, did you removed or configured anything different between the Ultimate and Business versions? I mean you must have since the Ultimate has more components, can you try that by using the exact same preset from the Business version.

datalife, I don't have that protection tab, attach your preset please. About the other bold part which I hardly read without calling 911 can you explain without yelling. You want to integrate Italian which is already in, why, is it newer version or the Italian isn't even in before? And later Control Panel - Features change fail, right? Kalabaza, did you press Apply to actually integrate it, was the ISO page selected in the tasks before you did all that? sp00f, on real or virtual machine? Which driver, how did you use them (e.g. extracted, selected inf)?

cka3o4nuk, no one else reports that so the cause is unknown. Try to keep UAC enabled so that it prompts. Even if it's not on your preset be sure to keep Application Experience...AND integrate those 2 new important patches just released, when we are at it integrate all of them. Again be sure to use newest Display drivers, try not to integrate them but to install after...

I experienced the same issue if the wrong pack is integrated, meaning if you integrate SP2 update pack into SP1 Windows or something similar, just a note.

Also be sure that the Hotfix page was enabled and all your hotfixes on the list (sorted by the build date so that the oldest is on top). I still haven't got that issue but I did hear from legolash2o about it during the testing. If you aborted vLite during integration that can happen, no other reasons are known yet.

Chronidus, thx for the heads up and the promotion. Basically it's ok, he didn't really gave any plus or minus, just recommended to try it which is fine by me.

I keep it enabled all the time so that if you want to just make the ISO you can jump to that page, if you want to make changes first just press Apply, and then make the ISO. So the point is to remember to press Apply if it's already enabled, nothing else.

Use Windows Update, then after reboot try to figure out which of the CABs is it in your C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folders. Then just insert that CAB. vLite will display you the name so you can add all and leave only the Dreamscene.

I got the same report couple of times. Turned out it's one of the firewall/antivirus/protection programs. If they are uninstalled, rebotted, then it works. Which one do you have installed?

wazer, move IE7 hotfixes below IE7 itself in the integration screen. Sort them all by the build date first.

slipk487 is right, try Autopatcher. Install it and integrate from the appropriate folder with vLite.

MagicAndre1981, use clean source, it's best not to overwrite or uninstall packages. But if you believe that MS did that perfectly then fine you force it in the next version when there is that option.

Oh that's not build for that. Thx for the note, at least I can make it more resilient but that won't be supported still because the drivers are not there, just their INF files.

Hm, very unusual. Are your drivers on the same computer or over network, removable drive ...anything out of the ordinary? And if you could just test it by running over and over by removing one by one driver from the list to see which it is so that I can try that. It won't take you much time because image isn't changed until the saving is done so if it fails during driver integration just try it again on the same folder, same preset without one driver and remember which you removed last.

You need both V1 and V2 integrated into the same source? I will make that popup more flexible to allow ignore, thx.
