  1. It could be that the boot.wim is setup wrong. You can mess that up with peimg or if it's some custom made installation like AIO.
  2. datalife, different Vista versions have different components in them, it's that simple. Install WMLite11 2.2.0.0 Alpha.exe and the WMV will work. I won't comment on the requests, I just write them down for later. Thx.
  3. That was fixed. Did you try to create the ISO with some other tool like oscdimg and try? I mean after vlite is done with the folder.

    HP AIO 2608

    lol ok then, great.
  5. Ok, I was talking in general, there are some people who have this BSOD on Vista if they install certain antivirus. But before no one with Nod32 had any issues, myself included. Now suddenly it began to show up. Gonna try some combinations in the virtual machine, thx.

Windows Photo Gallery is needed for scanners, could be it.
  7. I used firewalls and antivirus and still haven't seen that error. It must be something in combination. UAC on? Defender kept? What Nod32 options did you enable while installing it on Custom? What is enabled in the Zonealarm?

That WMP bug was corrected, now you have that separated called Windows Portable Devices. Not needed for USB, you can remove it unless you will install Camera or PDA driver.
  9. What is that, little more info, when, who...
  10. Yeah, it is a pattern, all have nod32, it must be some new update in nod32 that's doing it. But kotarel says it fails even if uninstalled...weird. I hope you rebooted before testing. sIn_maxo, what is your OS?
  11. Can you please post a link to that driver which you integrated with nlite?
  12. WHAT!!! Heh just joking. It's the known antivirus issue. Which antivir do you use?
  13. Ok, wrote it down. You can still use Windows 2000 but you use XP only because it's nicer and updated, not faster. Point is vLite is the future, king is dead, long live the king
  14. Because now you use newer usbport file from the hotfix which was out in the meantime.
  15. I searched and couldn't find any true 64-bit video player except the WMP inside the Windows itself but I don't use that. There is now an updated 64-bit FFdshow codec pack but can't use it with any of the 32-bit video players, usually using MPC. So did anyone stumbled on any 64-bit player or is there a source for MPC so that we can recompile it or something?
  16. Dynaletik is right, I totally forgot that you can save screensavers like that.
  17. Thanks.
  18. Yes. Hotfixes and addons will be supported. Games separation, I gotta try something newly learned then yeah probably. Screensavers no.
  19. Kevin Raptor & piXelatedEmpire, you're welcome. datalife, yeah I wonder that myself. dexter.inside, it doesn't add or remove anything from the boot.wim, yet. My assumption is that you messed up the folder structure, rebuilt that from the recovery custom dvd or something like that. Or there is that peimg option which tampers with that. Anyway no bug, regular Vista is working just fine.
  20. elajua, nice. I just saw this on the another site and then saw on your site the MSFN topic link. It's a small world. Only suggestion so far would be to put some sort of warning on exit if we really want to exit. With more and more settings one could cry if it is closed without saving the preset. Oh yes, also a preset support. Check All/None per page basis, you already noted that.
  21. That's debatable. I think that gallery can show videos aside from pictures, it gives me a multimedia vibe, I can move it to hardware support if that is more appropriate. It is red and in the description it says for what it is needed.
  22. 1. Some people reported that their driver for the camera failed to install with this removed. And I can confirm it's needed. 2. Is this a note? Do I have to change the description, I thought it's clear enough? 3. Function in what way? You can remove all components and it will still function, network included. But if you need Computer browser (the list of networked pcs on the Network Hood) then keep them. I remove them because I browse other pcs on the network manually in the address bar \\ComputerName
  23. Nothing is random in the world of bits It just selects the first one. Yes, this is in the todo for the next version, thx for showing me that it is still a must.
  24. This is a problem now? How come? Try any "more important" reg entry and you'll find the same. It's the normal permissions, protected against users tampering it. Report to CCleaner, I already set it to be cleaned in the next version.
  25. Ok, not intentionally and in my installation they are gone so it could be Ent thing, thx.
