  1. Ok but nlite puts those in the winnt.sif automatically, you probably used your own sif, I'm glad you solved it.
  2. MagicAndre1981, I don't get it where is the bug? That's called a suggestion. And you already did that with that "results page". zedox, good idea, will do that.
  3. Did it work for you with the same vlite before those hotfixes? Also try without "Skip user creation".
  4. They will say on their site WHQL certified. Usually non-beta drivers are ok. And never edit the inf file, that breaks the signature. By added .inf file I presume you selected that file through insertion, don't move it outside their folder (just in case, some people did that). If you are still confused then paste [Drivers] section from your preset (last session.ini in that DVD/ISO/Folder).
  5. Use only Vista WHQL signed drivers.
  6. Tried rebooting your host os? Is that original Vista or some edited/tweaked/changed/special?
  7. It installed fine for me. However that IE cumulative is the only that failed to install for me. After checking the logs I think that keeping the App Experience will help, corrected in the next one if that is confirmed.
  8. Please attach your preset for me to try. If that happens with it every time.
  9. If I understood you correctly simply cleaning that from the XML file will be enough? Kinda weird that if fails because of it anyway.
  10. I hear you, but unfortunately we don't know how, yet. (taking into account that I don't want to edit resources)
  11. Ok I'll separate that driver, was wondering myself if it can be used outside of Media Center.

    Weird problem

What do you think that you accidentally selected Accessories while pressing +(plus) sign on the Printers section, when it collapses the mouse is over Accessories checkbox, got the same report once, could be that.
  13. Agreed, it was on my wishlist as well. But when...can't say.
  14. datalife, what are you saying? Of course it's compatible, it's the same OS with hotfixes. If it breaks Control Panel - Features that's the only issue so far and I wouldn't call it critical.
  15. nLite extracts the hotfix and replaces the files directly. However some "weird" tweaks like Timezone updates are integrated with a switch and it doesn't use the QFE switch because I thought it just uses QFE when integrating. Gonna check that but it won't affect much because as I said nLite integrates directly, even smaller than the /QFE.
  16. Try without that pack and maan what is that under [RemoveFiles]. Clean that up and use removals in the components.
  17. weird, never seen that. Try totally deleting vLite folder and reinstall just 1.1beta and retry.

    Its all fine but!

Yeah. You can either put net into the keep files or use net1.
  19. Ok, that first one is the new Error Reporting removals, put the wer.dll into the protected files (bottom of the components page) as shown in the example. Gonna check the second issue.

    Burn ISO w/ vLite

Just be sure to select both ISO page options because there is a bug if the second one isn't selected.
  21. Not true, but anyway to be on the safe side use 1.1 beta, integrate hotfixes.
  22. True, thanks.
  23. Ok fixed that Finish thing for the next one. In the meantime enable the option ISO page enabled before apply, even after apply it won't be Finish it will be Next.
  24. 1. who told you that? There was a list on my site about the affected components but they are irrelevant if you use 1.1 beta, which is recommended. Just integrate them with vLite as well, all fine here. 2. I did fix that compat, not sure if it's in the public 1.1, be sure that the Secondary Logon service is kept. 3. download Autopatcher Vista and after installing it go to that folder and find the hotfixes, you can integrate them (MSU files).
  25. ZeDMaN, ok but attach the preset so that I may try. Kalabaza, make sure that the ISO page was selected, there is no reason for it not to appear in that case after the Apply. How many language packs did you integrate, try just ONE on the clean Vista (you can configure vLite as you want but start with the clean original Vista). Then if it fails with more than one at least I'll know where to start.
