  1. Find IDE drivers on that ULi package or from their site and integrate it in parallel with the textmode. That is the solution, now if you can't find your ide drivers then ask someone.
  2. Autologon with user which has Administrator rights or answer No when it asks you regarding that on the Users page, put autologon to whatever you want.
  3. It won't delete added users if you rerun it and delete there. Basically I understand your frustration but you'll have to remake it all at once next time. And keep your copy of unattended iso before any editing, that's common rule even if you edit something manually.
  4. Which drivers are those, try integrating PNP IDE drivers also if you have motherboard driver pack.
  5. LLXX, you are missing the point...that means you can't edit your DVD. This is not about piracy, it's about us playing with unattended and tweaks...now we gotta pay extra for that (ultimate version only).
  6. LLXX, they probably mean copy the image of the DVD in general. Don't worry their lawyers take good care of such things.
  7. I was using the Starter edition few days until that limit of 3 simultaneous programs running made me nervous. It's lame... How about this, we can't copy ISO to HDD! http://www.activewin.com/awin/comments.asp...lineIndex=36820
  8. I can't believe they didn't mention prefetch from XP, they sold the same thing already once before, maybe now it will work like advertized. And what happens to that collected data when you upgrade specific software, are the stats restarted for those new pages. For example I upgrade the Firefox almost every day with nightly releases, will it have any benefit from prefetch if it thinks that it's different app every day...they probably thought on that but that reporter should have asked him.
  9. That is obvious but did you choose it as a textmode driver and which section? I see that txtsetup.oem file isn't in the folder but nlite is pulling it automatically if you extract zip as it is into some folder. Did you select inf from the WinXP folder?
  10. Please post a link to that driver and explain is short how you use them.

    Vista

Man, when I saw that link, hehe, there really was many question regarding it, and my answer was always the same...but today there was some breakthrough and I can say that there will be a new tool which is already being developed. Actually it all started few months ago when it got stuck
  12. It's ok for plug and play but don't integrate multiplatform textmode drivers, aka SATA or RAID because during boot load it will stop if wrong Windows version.
  13. paraver, and is the file WIN51IP on original cd and in the copied folder ?

    T-39 error

Rogon3, try once in virtual machine not to remove any of the languages and related components like MUI or Text services. Attach your preset, not winnt.sif, thx.
  15. Do you have files like WIN51IP in the root of your CD?
  16. From where is a863ydiq.sys? Did you used some driver packs or something?
  17. Great. It will be easy to fix then.

    ntkrnlmp.exe

2 things. Remake your CD with nlite 1.2 RC and consider removing Manual Install component instead of gosh method.
  19. paraver, when you copy the Windows CD then copy the root files too. WIN51IP is the missing file in your case.
  20. sho_gun, nice. Did keeping cursors helped in that setuperr line or display driver only? Regarding that +\i386 that's common driver problem and it's not my fault, just to be clear. It's regarding missing or wrong entries inside [sourceFiles] section in the inf file of the driver. You either extracted those drivers from the Windows with some tool or from the installation CD?

    Features request

Innocent Devil, tried before to find about F6 prompt removal but no go. I hope that DisabeAsr is for real. rado354, no (it's not the problem with ideas, problem is time and Vista, so for now only fixes)
  22. Roger, roger.
  23. You have to run it with winnt /unattend:winnt.sif or something similiar, search on it. Use direct only.
  24. You say it worked in 1.0.1...weird I didn't change it since then. Gonna check later, thx for reporting.
  25. JasonACS, was your Display driver installed? You gotta integrate your newest display drivers for that display setting to work. Also remove windows display drivers if yours are ignored (non-whql).
