  1. Thanks, I never noticed that! No problem, I see from the above that this could indeed apply to the title bar now I know that it's possible to have it!
  2. I'm sure you're right, but it would still be good to know exactly what's being talked about!
  3. That's a shame, as I've always found it very convenient to just click the tray icon if I want to examine the console output, and then just click the icon again to hide it. I seem to remember that I could do that with ProxHTTPSProxy's tray icon when I had it installed before, but that may well have been because I was using a utility called 'TrayIt!' to put the icon into the system tray in the first place. It's so long ago now that I can't remember exactly how I did it!
  4. I'm a bit confused here (not for the first time!) Are we actually talking about having emojis in the 360Chrome title bar? I didn't think 360Chrome had one! Do we actually mean the address bar (in URLs), or perhaps on the tab labels?
  5. Looks great! As #11 and #12 are enabling or disabling the same thing, I'm wondering if maybe that would be clearer if they were just labelled 'system-wide proxy on' and 'system-wide proxy off' or something like that? Also, does clicking the system tray icon toggle the console on and off as it does on HTTPSProxy? Thanks very much for this, it will make a huge difference.
  6. The number of emojis has massively grown in that three years probably! I must say I was a bit surprised that when you open it, it just shows the usual text symbol table. I was expecting it to show a huge table of emojis!
  7. When I sorted out the folder and then tried to install the font it said it was already installed for me too, so I guess it happened automatically when I copied the file to the folder. It was still good to have the full functionality of the folder back though! Here you go. seguiemj.ttf
  8. I just did this, and I now have emojis in Instagram comments on 360Chrome 13.5, which were all just rectangles before! They're only black and while, but that's a great improvement. I had the same problem with the Fonts folder, and doing a repair with TweakUI made no difference. What did fix it was adding the system attribute to the folder, which must have got lost somehow back in the mists of time. My seguiemj.ttf file is dated 07/12/19. It came from a Windows 10 21H2 ISO.
  9. Yes, I realise that now! I misinterpreted what you said in the PS of your post earlier where you said "I disabled the AU Service". The service starts anyway even if set to 'manual' so it might as well be left on 'automatic', as you say.
  10. I've now discovered that if I disable the Automatic Updates service, I get this on every boot in the Event Log. I guess you just can't win! I'll re-enable it again.
  11. Thanks @AstroSkipper. That all makes perfect sense, and as you say if AU can't be made to work properly, it might as well just be disabled. It's not like it's ever going to find anything now! Cheers for the great help as always, and sorry for the delay in responding. Dave.
  12. OK, no problem with either issue as far as I'm concerned, they don't affect the usability of the browser at all. I guess the first tab may not be trying to connect to anything at all, I've looked quite a few times and while the browser always seems to have a connection or two going, there is no consistency in fact as to what addresses it's accessing. It could just be that the loading of the first tab can't complete for some other reason. As for the Chinese button, interesting that the Russians didn't translate that either, I guess as you say its label is a bit buried somewhere! It's the only bit of Chinese I've spotted in the GUI, so you've done a pretty thorough job everywhere else!
  13. Just to update, it seems that a maximum of five entries are shown in the downloads menu. After that, only the most recent five are shown, and the button with Chinese on it appears. I guess that's so you can go to the Download Manager and see the downloads which are no longer displayed. I would thank that 'All' would probably be the right labelling for the button in that case.
  14. It opens the Download Manager. It only appears when there's several entries in the list (perhaps more than six?) so it could be an "All" button, maybe that is the most that can be displayed there. I can do some tests on that if you like.
  15. Another bit of residual Chinese I keep meaning to mention and forgetting!
  16. There is, using ProxHTTPSProxyMII Rev3e apparently.
  17. @AstroSkipper FWIW, the warnings in my Windows System Log about the AU system not being able to connect are still there.
  18. Do not mention this subject again here. You have already been warned about this by one of my fellow moderators who isn't as lenient as me!
  19. Back on topic please guys, this is not a thread for discussing Windows activation issues.
  20. Fair comment, and can I remind everyone that any discussion of illegal activities is expressly forbidden here. Take it to PM if necessary, but conversations about dubious product keys are definitely not allowed on the open forum.
  21. My version of crypt32.dll is 5.131.2600.6459, same as yours, dated 7/10/13.
  22. I did read it, but I didn't try it because I wanted to eliminate the other possibility that we were testing one way or the other first. I will try it now. EDIT: OK I ran wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow in a command prompt. Is that all I need to do? Everything else was already as stated.
