I think I found the answer

It was woking fine i just upgraded my MOBO from a VIA kt600. Now I have Nforce2 its something conflicting........

I got the drivers from yamaha my specs are below.

I try to install the driver and it freezes on device install after I reboot. and also no game port it is there but dont work. Can anyone please help me Also I have a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 that Windows 98se wont even recognise....... Thanks

yes i agree with the other post, copy your treasure and format and do a clean 98se install. Make sure you have a fast harddrive it really counts.

So how do I remove this avg without corrupting my OS? I thought avg was a nice av but i never get it to alarm for quite awhile and would like to free those extra dealies.

I recently "restored" my OS and now have avg free installed again, I noticed before when I uninstall avg my mouse isn't always detected and I have to reboot or unplug an plug back in my mouse. It's a usb mouse with proper drivers. So now I notice the mouse is fine and dandy but from past experience, when I uninstall avg the mouse goes wonky. Anyone know why this would be? thanks

I decided to re-format and install my backed up clone. Anyways, all is well as per usual but now I'm back to where I was........not even the older versions can help.

This is just an assumption but, I have a feeling Bill Gates lost control of the computer industry due to "the "hush, hush" theory" I think the users had too much control of their PC, now there's 0 control, technically. I think he had no choice but to slowly turn it over to "some entity" and is now controlled by others than BIll Gates, I think that's why he's outtie. who knows...........

I'm debating on whether I should skip Flash player, it has always been the fatal flaw of things that arise. I started monkeying around and I'm on a ".ocx" search and destroy mission, so far I have been ok and IE seems quicker. I seem to have no choice but to use flah player for myspace and some chat. It works good for about 10 minutes then my fonts start going funny and gets bigger and I get "I'm outta memory" messages. What's that all about? EDIT
